So then I guess you won't be making a MR out of the trip you need to take, huh?

Was this recently or 2 years ago when the price was ~$250 EWR-HNL-LIH-HNL-EWR on UA? If recently, I'm going to kick myself...

AC: EWR-YYC ~$220 a/i

Great fare to YYC from EWR on AC but only limited availability in early May (sample dates: May 2-7).

Also, Delta is only slightly higher at $237.

It's funny, we saw the reverse route, YYC-EWR for pretty much exactly that price, on those exact same dates May 2-7, about a month or so ago. First it was WestJet, then AC matched.

Not sure what it is about May 2-7 between Calgary and Newark that the airlines are so anxious to make price cuts.

Actually, I see that the YYC-EWR route is available at the cheap price again, it was gone for the last week or so.

I even did not notice its disappearance. Actually, the status has not been changed since then.

I believe the beginning of May is when Westjet's season service yyc-ewr begins, and they discounted to fill the flights on the first few days of service.

YX is offering MKE-PHL for $118 all in roundtrip -- lowest fare I can recall in this market in years. You can earn DL miles on YX (not sure about elite bonuses). Not valid on Fridays and Sundays/Mondays, I believe, but otherwise great availability. I think there's some sort of minimum stay -- fare doesn't work one way.

I was going to post this as a "mileage run" to give more folks a "heads up," but it's hard to claim this qualifies --unless there's some bonus offer I'm unaware of. It's a great fare, though.

I am a newbie, so my apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but where do you find such low prices for a HNL MR? I have been trying to get there from IAD or DCA and haven't seen anything below $800 RT

Historically they will be posted in the MR forum. Here are some finds during 2009:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...-i-s-fare.html

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...54-90-all.html

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...cents-eqm.html

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...231-239-a.html

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...85-rt-all.html

Keep an eye on the MR forum. They are usually started by an opposing carrier stepping on the toes of the carrier for a Hub and then that carrier does the same at the other airline's hub. Fun for all of us!

Aa: Was-pvg $686

This one comes and goes... it's here right now, with no minimum stay. An efficient 15K base during April if someone needs it.

CO has a similar fare at $780.

Great fare. Less than 5cpm from NYC.

Just FYI, US Citizens need a visa which runs over $100 ($130?).
