[FARE GONE] UA: IAH/ATL/EWR-HNL, $192.94 ($254.90+ all-in)

UA has a base fare of $192.94 from IAH-HNL, which appears to be good through the end of schedule. It's a T fare (TE03NR1), the rules permit travel from Sunday through Friday, and there's a three day minimum stay requirement for Sunday through Thursday departures and a Saturday-night stay requirement for Friday departures. For the sample itinerary I pulled up on united.com (12/4 out; 12/7 in), taxes and fees are $61.96, for a total of $254.90 all-in.

why should DL care IAH isnt its Hub. Now I can understand if CO went after UA

CO Elites should buy this fare from IAH for travel AFTER October when CO joins the Star Alliance and the bennies kick in.

I don't see any fare action to Hawaii from the East Coast. Yet.

I had assumed this was a mistake fare (almost exactly 1/2 the going rt fare), but as the fare was refiled at 12:30pm as an L fare (originally filed as a T fare at 10am), I'd say UA is definitely trying to send a signal to CO/DL/AA.

Now that it's obvious to the other airlines that this isn't a mistake fare, maybe there will be some retaliatory action this evening.

I have one pulled one up for Jan 15-18 next year.
Went to HOLD it, but.......

Darn, I sponsored a family member my last 2 CR-1s,
and most all my 500s have expired.
This would have been perfect.

Worth using last 2 SWUs for this? Almost, but probably not.
Better to head to CC I guess.

That would be too strange to use SWU for Region 1;
I had to go check the rules once again
to even see if domestic L-fares qualified. Yep.
