look at Flight Aware. All airlines have considerably cut back. Nothing on Spirit and Frontier only has one MCO flight. AA no Miami nonstops.
On UA no EWR direct flights till May 20. I thought it was cool UA operated a CLE-EWR nonstop charter Friday for Cleveland Clinic volunteers operated at no cost with a CLE crew. Aircraft was ferried back here.

Our flight on 16 June, UA639 CLE-IAH was "removed" from our booking. UA is now routing us through EWR. Anyway, no daily service to IAH from CLE? Really?

According to a post at another site, this is correct. Also, no DEN, LAX, and SFO.

Yup Flying to CA for my dad's 70th birthday end of June and as booked about 3 weeks ago it was CLE-DEN-LAX / LAX-CLE nonstop. When all of those flights got pulled from the schedule the rebooking fairies put me on a CLE-EWR -- 4.5 hours -- then EWR-LAX. and a slightly less appalling LAX-EWR-CLE return.

At least I called and got a more acceptable CLE-ORD-LAX for the outbound. Keeping the LAX-EWR for the time being mainly for the novelty of PS or whatever it's called now -- and realizing that in almost 1000 flights I've never done a proper transcon.

Man I miss flying.

Are you sure they are actually back as opposed to July schedules not yet updated to reflect reductions?

The belief in this thread is that UA has only updated the schedule through July 5

Florida

Looks like UA will continue seasonal service to both FLL and RSW. Looks like Frontier has completely pulled out of FLL.

Spirit tip EWR

Spirit will start flying one round trip CLE-EWR in July. Morning outbound evening return. Their fare is $69.00 but checking UA flights in July fare dropped to $49.00. Never been that low.
Reminds me of the People Express days.

Just a little CLE history. In the 1960’s UA had nonstop service to LAX, SFO and those sunbirds to Florida TPA and MIA.
When UA built the hub early 1970’s all mainline aircraft to FNT, MBS, GRR, LAN, FWA, SBN cities I remember. Used 737 and 727’s. AA for a brief period operated a mini hub bank
to LAX, SFO,LAS, PHX, and SAN.
Interesting when UA first closed the hub on 1986 to move to IAD first US Air operated a mini hub nonstop service to Florida
and LAX. Then CO started the hub buildup.
It is sad UA is paying big bucks to let a concourse sit. Maybe management could re evaluate hub structure and add some service back to offer an alternate to EWR and ORD.

Is this story correct? I can't find any United flights to LAX or Orlando in July.
