Upon searching your dates, I get 3 room types available - Standard Guest Room ($159), Concierge Level Room ($174) and a Junior Suite ($174). Clicking the 'Room Information' link for the Standard Room gives a description of the room as a 'Deluxe Room' which is the same as is described on Hotels.com.

I would have a go at booking the Standard Room and then submitting a claim using the Hotels.com rate of $109 which includes breakfast. If the claim is agreed, they should include breakfast with the discounted rate. If this is not explicitly stated on the reply, email back and ask that they clarify. I have had successful claims where I've been told by the hotel that breakfast is not included but have had a copy of the email from 'Look No Further' stating that it is. The hotel have always accepted this and amended my res to include breakfast.

If they don't approve the claim then you can just cancel without charge and book through Hotels.com anyway.

I found a rate on ebookers.com and sent in the claim. Marriott have denied it saying that the T&C aren't the same. Bugger.

Ogden Marriott 28 Sept 2008 3 guests.

I have just found another rate on orbitz for $89.10. Now I'm wondering if it's worth the effort to cancel my rate and re-claim?

Odgen what state? Utah?

I would just make a new reservation and submit a new LNF claim.

I found it...

Both Hotels.com at $109 (includes breakfast) & Orbitz at $89 are cheaper than $159 on Marriott.com ^

Please post your LNF success

Could a moderator please move the reports of successful claims to the 'Post Rate Guarantee Successes' thread?

Good work all round, by the way.

That's great ^

Don't hesitate in asking for help. Besides, even if we can't find a lower rate, you will be happy to know you paid the lowest rate

Fairfield Inn Sandusky, OH

I am looking for a LNF for the Fairfield Inn Sandusky.

Check in 7/3
Check out 7/6
room - Double/Double - the cheapest room available on marriott.com.
rate to beat $169/night - $565.30all in.

I have checked expedia, travelocity, orbitz, kayak, ebookers, hotels., and have had no luck. some sights show no rooms available, others show rooms at same or higher rate.

help? TIA!
