I am looking for a LNF for the Phoenix Mesa Marriott for dates 1/23/09 -1/26/09.
Marriott website gives me 189/nt weekend rate or 204/nt with stay for breakfast. I'd like to match the breakfast if i can.

A tough one...
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for the courtyard Marriott in jersey city for Nov. 7 to 9. We are are a group of 10 persons who will travel to New York and plan to stay at this hotel because it is cheaper than the one in Manhattan.
On the marriott website, the best available rate is 239$ for two queens bed (or 227$ for AAA). I did try every possible options to have a better price than this one but guess it's harder than I thought. We plan to book 2 rooms. Any idea on how to be successful?
On the other hand, I'm very new to this, but do you believe that the certificate for 1 night free when you stay 1 night during the week-end is going to work? I don't possess any of these certificate, but saw in the ebay site that you can buy one or two ... is it a good option in your opinion (because these certificate seem to be very cheap...around 10-15$ per certificate)? Before spending money for nothing, I just want to make sure that it's allright from all the valuable experts here in this forum.
I'm sorry for my not-so good english and any mistake...I'm better in french.
Thank you for your time...

2for1 certs currently expire on 10/5. MR Gold/Plat get them for free and are transferable (at least ones you can print online). Wait until new batch of certs gets out.

I just read post #171 and, being a new Gold member, called Marriott to see if I could use the free weekend night elite offer for my upcoming stay at the Courtyard Pasadena/Oldtown. I was told the offer doesn't apply to Courtyard. Is this true....or is the advice given by iztok correct? Thanks for clarifying this for me.

No problem, Iztok. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to call back and see if a different agent would give me an answer I liked

Anthemflyer, LNF claims have to be in more than 24 hours before the reservation so even if there was a better rate, you can't do anything about it I'm afraid.

I'm staying at the Courtyard Silver Spring North 9/21 - 9/23. Rate = $178... is there a better rate available?
