Do nights at a Ritz-Carlton count? Spent 6 nights at a RC beginning April 5th, but no nights credited to my Marriott Rewards account.

Yes. They usually take a few days to credit, but they should be there by now. Call Marriott C/S.

Anyone know if you can use/book two rooms at the same hotel, for the same night using free nights earned thru MegaBonus? I've got 4 of them built up and they are getting harder and harder to use - and considering the upcoming Category shift in a few weeks, now is the time to book them.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I don't see why not inasmuch as one is able to make points reservations for 2 rooms on the same day. Wouldn't you be able to see this by setting the rooms desired to be 2 and then see if 2 certs are automatically assigned from your kitty for the rooms selected on the day selected?

If not, I would think that reservations would be able to do this for you.

You SHOULD be able to do that. The important thing is the date the reservation IS MADE, not the date of the actual stay. As long as you make the award rez BEFORE MAY 15, you should be good to go at the "old redemption rates."

Call MR, they have been known to be understanding and accommodating to those who are one, and even two nights short. Just be exceptionally nice when you ask, and you might be a pleasant surprise. Of course, no promises, and YMMV!

Like some here, I changed my promo from points to Cat1-4 certs by calling in. At time of change, I was informed this was going to have to be "manually reconciled" at promo end i.e. certs would only be provided at end of promo.

Has anybody who's done the same, seen the certs appear yet?

Since Mr. Nacho made 9 stays - he wrote to MR and got a reply that his cat 5 certs are cancelled and they ordered 3 cat 4 certs for him.

Did he want for that to happen, or was he asking for something else?

He got 2x cat 5 certs promo for Spring Megabonus and since he was running his Plat challenge, he asked MR to swap his promo from 2x cat 5 to 3x cat 4 and it was accepted.

He got an email from them saying that he can just reply the email and have the certs swapped. He did and he was told that his cat 4 certs will be available within 48 hours. I haven't checked his account and I do trust Marriott that they will be there. If not, I'll write to them again.

They were able to sign me up for a 15 night promotion at 25k points instead. I don't see this promotion anywhere, but I'm not about to complain. Better than nothing!
