How do I get the current [70K | 80K | other] offer?

Which offer is better, X with annual fee waived or Y with no fee waiver?

Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?

Once I meet the card's initial spending requirement, how soon will I receive my signup bonus points?

If I cancel my card after the annual free-night cert has posted, will I lose the cert?

I'd also be interested because I just applied (have not received my card yet) for the 50,000 plus $75 offer.

When you click on the 70,000 link above, and it redirects you to the 50,000 one, the one I've applied for is still a little bit better ($75 statement credit is better than nothing). If we can't get the 70,000, mine can be found on the Marriott reservation pages (start to make a dummy booking and it will pop up on one of the screens).

But if people are having luck just asking for the 70,000, I'll try it, too.

Must be targeted and one time use?
It worked yesterday afternoon. I go the the application with the provided link. However, I didn't apply as I have 2 high limit chase cards and had to cancel one. Went back in this AM and it won't work.

I was able to take the link above and 'combine' it with the link from a 50k email I got. I was able to get the 70k landing page with no redirect when I chose to apply. (You all can try the same.)

I took screen shots of everything along the way.

It is the secured message function in your Chase Online Account.

Go to that area, send message, and choose the subject from the pull down menu. I would use Account Inquiry to send the request.

Since I just got the cards (literally 20 minutes ago) I just called the toll free number and the guy switched me to the 70,000 offer, too! And activated the cards for us, all in the same phone call. Let's hope it works. He said the $75 credit might show up, but should disappear again shortly.

I got my card 2 weeks ago and already spent the $1000 and got the $75 credit. They said they will take the $75 credit back and give me the 20K ( 70K total) points when my first statement closes

I sent them a SM and told them I recieved the email with the 70K offer and included the link.

Uh-oh, do you think I messed up by calling rather than having the paper trail of e-mails? I have the full name and location of the person I spoke with.

Send them a SM with the link reminding them what the person you spoke with said. In reality $75 isn't worth much less than 20K miles. You get the $75 credit after your first purchase whereas points aren't worth anything until you use them

As with all valuations, it depends in large part on the perspective of the individual, but I would consider 20K points to be worth much more than $75.

The advantage of the $75 credit is that it can be spent now, on anything (that is, it can cover anything you charge, whether or not a hotel room, up to the $75). The advantage of the 20K points is that you can usually redeem them for a savings of a penny a point (thus around $200 for 20,000 points) if you use them for a free hotel room.

I agree completely. And twice he asked if I'd not rather keep what I had with the 50,000/$75 and twice I said no thank you.

Us Canadians get shafted with our crappy credit card offers. Why do we pay a $120 annual fee and our sign up offer isn't even as great

Just one data point: I applied today through the link earlier in this thread. Got a "pending review" message. When I called and got it approved, I had the rep confirm the 70k bonus, which she did.
