Before you cancel your other hotel, this still doesn't appear to be bookable from spg.com. I might switch from the Blue Palace to Bodrum once it becomes bookable.

But it would also be nice to find out how ready this hotel will be. Maybe it won't be fully open this summer if it still not bookable.

Of course, won't cancel the original booking until I can confirm at Caresse. Having done some research though, it does like pretty nice! No idea how they go from unannounced to open within a couple weeks, but we'll see... I see them still advertising for positions, so I'm not expecting anything too polished if they do open for my trip! Haha

It's open and bookable on spg.com now. I'd still like to hear a local report to see how open it is. There's also a Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum that looks super nice. And an Aman, but I'm not a fan of Aman. Anyhow Bodrum seems quite the luxury hotspot.

I just looked for the last week of August and it's on Hot Escapes! For only €600 per night. They even have suites on Hot Escapes for only €1200 per night. Enticing anyone?

Wow. And I think "Hot" escape is the keyword for Turkey in August. Did it once, never again. Combine those rates with the fact that it is a cat 7, and it was suddenly not that tempting anymore - for me at least.
