Occupancy is low given that they just opened and that was probably a factor.

As pool is not in the description then it does not have a plunge pool. |

Smart of them to generate some buzz during low occupancy (high season is ending anyway) with generosity. Then invariably reduce benefits when high occupancy is reached, but we can cross that bridge when we get there.

My hunch is they take a different approach and severely restrict reward inventory by making the standard redemption the beach bungalow without pool.

but all the other points hotels in Bora Bora limit the base rooms to some sort of beach bungalow...

The dinner menus are not very inspiring. There are a lot more choices at the St Regis.
Also, the breakfast buffet looks gone from when it was Le Meridian and replaced with a la carte. Also, for reference, I was given our Elite Welcome Amenity choices

Question / info about boat service to the Westin Bora Bora:
I read or saw somewhere that one can reserve dinner at the St. Regis and get complimentary boat service to and from the Westin. Has anyone been able to do so, for free? I was thinking of hopping over to the St Regis for either Polynesian show dinner or Farniente. However, writing to the St. Regis the concierge replied: "Boat shuttle is not complimentary and is charged 7’300 xpf per person for a round trip" (to the Westin). That seems a little overpriced. Good news, the Westin has complimentary boat shuttle to the Bora Bora mainland from 8:30 to 16:50: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...546f2d9a87.png Boat rides in white are free. Yellow departure times are 3500 xpf per person, round trip. |
Does anyone have an email contact at the hotel?
I have some questions about an upcoming stay. Thank you |
I went to push my Aug 2025 stay out further in the calendar. Where I was previously able to book an OWB for just points, now only beach villas are available as a base room. OWB's are pricing as an upgrade for an extra cash fee on top of the points.

I am going for 2 nights in December so getting closer. 2 at St Regis and 2 at Westin. Looking at the photos I probably would have booked all 4 at the Westin!
Any suggestions for somewhere inexpensive in Tahiti? As I have a night there. |
