Has anyone been able to apply a night upgrade award to their reservation or anyone with a reservation that has a NUA available can you check to see if it is able to be applied?

THe grand opening seems to be in 2-3 days ?
Does anyone know if all the amenities would be open if we book in mid September ? the rooms must be brand new, but if the rest of the amenities, like the bars, restaurents, gym, Turtle sanctuary (?) is not open, then it is not worth it.

Just booked two nights in November. Used a FNC for one, and points for the other. Applied my nightly upgrade awards towards both nights.

What room categories are on offer with the NUAs?

I arrived in Bora Bora on Tuesday -- which I believe was Westin's opening day -- and saw a large-ish group from our flight hop on the Westin shuttle. Most of the other hotels were picking up less than 5 people, but this group numbered about 10 to 15. May be a contingent of social media influencers/content creators? Our snorkel guide mentioned that during the opening delays, they moved all the earlier booked guests to the St. Regis.

An interesting take on the logic of the Westin rebranding:
In other news, Groupe Louis Wane got approval to re-acquire the Hilton Moorea in partnership with Hilton. The group had previously owned both Hilton Moorea and St. Regis and sold both in 2016.

Westin Bora Bora: Points Award Booking Success
 

We managed to book the Westin Bora Bora using Marriott points, and also booked St Regis for mid 2025.

StR lagoonarium is amazing and is the main reason for our return. Hoping Westin is of similar quality.

Looking forward to reading reviews of Westin BoB.

Booked five nights at the end of April on points! Seemed like a pretty wild deal, at least compared to the cash rate. Excited for our first trip to Bora Bora!

These are the NUA options I see for a five night stay in April 2025. Anyone else a bit confused about the differences between room types? Excited to get some first-hand accounts from folks who head to the property sooner!
