Does anyone know of a Marriott code for Courtyard in Foothill Ranch or any other code that would work in Orange County (OC) There are various ways to save on hotels in Anaheim, Placentia, Fullerton, ie in those "competitive" tourist areas. Those methods rarely work in the rather uncompetitive south of Orange County. (And it can be quite a schlep, especially during rush hour, from Fullerton to Foothill Ranch, unless perhaps you can use the toll roads "the back way".) And three's no such things as one code (or one LNF site) that works for every hotel in one county. It's on a hotel-by-hotel basis. |

Try them all, one of them "should" provide you some sort of discount. Whether that is enough of a discount for you, that is something that only you know

2. the poster referenced was given the tools; i.e., the first page of this thread if they are too lazy to go through them and find one for them, they will continue to get the same response as that is the answer to their question and everyone like it that seems to get posted quite frequently |

When FTers posts new codes the maintainer of the thread adds them to post #1. So the best thing for someone looking for a discounted rate to do is go to post #1 & check those codes. If they work, great. If not, then they're probably not available for that property or doing those dates. It's rare for someone to come up w/ a code available for a specific property on a certain date that isn't publicly available already when asked & whoever is asking could have found him/herself. Nor are FTers always willing to do the work for others. If you or others have discovered some new publicly available codes that aren't posted already in post #1, your fellow FTers would greatly appreciate you listing them so that hhoope01 can update post #1. :) Cheers. |

Why is it such a big deal if people ask questions that may have been addressed before?

If you know a particular hotel may have a good rate with certain promotional codes (as long as the guest qualifies), it would be nice to share it with someone who seems to need help. The post itself insured that more specific help couldn't be given -it did not include dates of travel, type of rooms needed, the rate code for which the OP might qualify, rate range that is affordable...etc etc etc. Without those things, it is impossible to provide a code that would work. Furthermore, there is no public rate code that offers significant savings every day at every property. So a rate code that is working for me on Tuesday may not work for you on Friday. That is why one MUST TRY every rate code in Post 1 every time. You can save $$$$ if you get lucky. But one has to do the work, not just post and expect it to appear. |
