Tram #2 should do it. It does from the train station to Jubilat stop which is close to Sheraton.
Both the trains from WAW and the trains from the airport come into/out of the main train station

Train takes 20min and goes every 30min
Cost is 6 or 8 pln
Then the tram should be 10-15min, runs weekday every 20min.
should be 2.5pln

A weekday cab should run around 60-70pln or so and take 30min

If you can call the local car/taxi company "iCar" then service to the airport will run you about half of that.

Yup, they are quite cheap. I started using them quite often to/from the airport

Good tip. ^ Looks like a limo service instead of taxi. Is it customary to tip the driver?

Not really. Some round up. I usually give a couple of pln (like if it was 41pln to the airport ill do 45. Cabbing it in the city, if it was 12.20pln total, then 13 or 14)

The cars used are similar to other taxis in Krakow, though I've found the cars to be newer / cleaner and the drivers more pleasant. (Disclaimer: My sample set is not huge (<10 rides with iCar to date) and other taxi drivers in Krakow are generally nice too.)

I don't know if tipping is customary, but I commonly give a couple of extra zloty for a local ride and a little more for the ride to the airport.

Staying here for two nights, booked classic room through beatthetimer - only one suite available on arrival, and was lucky enough to get upgraded to that one: the Presidential Suite (also called the Wawel Suite).

It is an amazing suite. It is more than 100 m2, and have striking views towards the river and the castle.

It have a small kitchenette with good quality machines from Siemens, a large living room with a huge sitting group, media center from Bose, barista machine, dining area, various pieces of art. There is a reception hall with a guest bathroom. The bedroom is large as well, it feature a walk in wardrobe with make up mirror (it is separated from the bedroom), a terrace and a nicely appointed master bathroom with Molton Brown amenities - there is a jacuzzi and a separate massage shower cabinet. The toilet is also in a separate cabinet.

The lounge have all day snacks and drinks (also beer and wine all day).

I'm heading to the Sheraton Krakow in a month, arriving by train from Warsaw. How do you get from the central train station to the hotel, tram? taxi?
