Top 3 points to raise to Marriott exec
If you were a lifetime titanium or ambassador level (meaning you have been extremely loyal to Marriott/Starwood), and happened upon a conversation with a top Marriott executive about the downward trajectory of the value of being a Marriott member, what top three things would you raise?

1. Failure of hotels to honor published elite benefits and failure of Marriott to enforce anything. This includes failure to honor confirmed SNA upgrades and failure to upgrade (either at SNA window or upon check in) Ambassador level guests when standard suites are available for sale.
2. Despite night and spend requirements, no real Ambassador benefits, including failure to assign/restore personal Ambassadors. Few published benefits for (lifetime or not) Titanium above Plat.
3. Lounges not restored to even preCOVID-19 levels. Despite brand standards (which weren't enforced well by Marriott even before the merger), hotels are apparently allowed to close their lounges permanently or have them open with just nonalcoholic beverages (when restocked) and a few packaged cheap snacks being offered.

Agreed with MSPeconomist points.
Marriott's failure to reprimands hotels that ignoring elite benefits made other hotels that initially comply with elite terms and condition dare to ignoring it.

I would hard pass on the opportunity, as they have shown time and again they really don't give a crap about the consumer, and any valid points would just fall on deaf ears...the fish rots from the head

Hands down the closed lounges. Mr. 19 has been a scapegoat for way too long. Either open your lounges, or you forfeit membership within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
If you can open your restaurant and bars, you have no excuse to close your club lounge.

1. To restore the Ambassador level service to what it was, to give an incentive for members to spend $20K and reach the 100 nights requirement per year.
2. To bring back physical cards for Lifetime memberships.
3. To create another level as an incentive for Lifetime Titanium members to spend most of their hotel nights in Marriott properties, instead of taking advantage of their "freedom" to wander around at Hilton, IHG, Accor .... hotels. LT Titanium members, whether Ambassador or not, are usually well treated at hotels where they are frequent guests. At properties that they have not stayed at, or have just stayed a few times, it is too often a hit-or-miss experience. An additional Lifetime level (I suggested earlier the name "Rhodium", but any - good - name would do it
), that could be granted after 20 years as Platinum or Ambassador and 1,500 nights, could be given (for example) 5 confirmed (if available at Booking Time) suite upgrades, after reaching 50 nights, 5 additional at 75 nights and 5 more at 100 nights. It could also be 1 free night without point limit, at 50, 75 & 100 nights.

Lifetime "Rhodium" would be the double Lifetime Titanium with 20 years as Platinum or Titanium or Ambassador (it could also be with a minimum of a number of years at the Titanium or/and Ambassador levels) and 1,500 nights. Not only would this status be above the Lifetime Titanium, for upgrades priority, but would activate an access to better perks after 50, 75 and 100 nights, in order to get an incentive to still stay a significant number of nights at Marriott properties, every year.
I think that Confirmed SNAs (5/5/5 for 50/75/100), if available at Booking Time or Free Nights without point limit (1/1/1 for 50/75/100) would be tangible.

I know youre really asking about elite benefits
But Im tired of poor breakfast offerings and limited housekeeping in the Fairfield (and maybe similar) tier. These are cost-cutting measures flying under the guise of health & safety. It was bad enough when housekeeping was on request. Limiting it to every other day is not customer-centric.

1. Effective customer service team and ability for Elite members to escalate matters to a highly qualified agents. The canned responses and impersonal reply is very off outing hence I suggest an auto questionnaire for each engagement where the agent is rated and an option for escalation is offered.
2. Enforcement of Bonvoy benefits as hotels tend to slack and act cheap.
3. Enhanced mobile app features by considering the following. Introducing a chat feature to communicate with elite concierge and customer service. Rating properties on the app. Functionality to add additional guest name to the booking (like Hilton). Ability to chat with hotels front desk prior to booking. Include additional property details like email addresses of the front desk and the concierge. Extend the ability to use SNA till the check in day (currently blocked a night or two before check in).
