Extremely underwhelmed by this hotel.
for background - The Edition properties are my favorite Marriott brand to stay in. I’ve stayed at various Editions in Miami, New York, London, Singapore and Hollywood. They are very much my design esthetic. With the Singapore Edition being one of my favorite stays.
This Dubai Edition just falls short. Everything just seems cheap. Like a hotel rushed to completion and slapped together.
Another huge negative to me is the sauna access. I only book hotels with sauna’s because I try to sauna a few times a week. At the Dubai Edition they told me the sauna is chargeable at 300 AED per use…. I’m sorry but that is unacceptable at a 5 Star hotel.

Stayed here twice in late 2025. Both were short stayes of 2 nights.
I like this property, the breakfast is one of the best in my opinion. The suites are quite nice as well.
I spent sometime by the pool and it was great. If you can score a rate with breakfast then go ahead, you won't be disappointed.
There are a couple of great restaurants at the hotel but managed by a third party. An Indian and a Japanese. I went to the bar once but it was quite dead and didn't enjoy it much.
walking distance to Dubai Mall if willing to do some shopping.

Just stayed here again for 2 nights on a STARS rate. Whole lot of confusion regarding the credit as it wasn't applicable with in room dining. But it was resolved towards the end and they took it out of the bill.
Another upgrade to a superior suite which is always the room at the end of the hallway with 2 doors. No complaints with the stay.
