I've been staying here semi-regularly. I agree with most everything that has bocastephen mentioned. The breakfast is really a disappointment. The eggs are somehow gritty/grainy, and the sausage is steamed?

I haven't had any issue with parking.

Others have mentioned the 6th floor, but despite several stays as a Plat I haven't been on that floor. 5th floor every time for me. Perhaps its still closed.

The rooms look nice, some are more updated than others. I agree also with cawhite above, I really do not like the LED lighting. Its a very very cool white, and its very focused. In the day time I struggle to get a good illumination of the room. there are very bright spots and very dark spots, which makes it hard if I try to work a few hours. There is almost no sound insulation in the rooms too. I can always hear others in the hallway and doors slamming.

There's a Renaissance Club Sport across from the Pleasant Hill BART station (though probably technically in Walnut Creek). I have friends that have a membership in the Club Sport part there.
I've stayed at the Renaissance once, but I don't think I would stay there again. The bath linens were old and tattered and they were all discolored. The TVs in the room are small.

I've since had a few more stays here. Eggs continue to be bad. Josh, the bartender in the evening is fantastic!

I'm not sure if this location has suites. On the Photos page of Marriott's website there are pictures of various suites, but Rooms page doesn't list any, and they're never bookable.

I finally had a stay on the 6th floor, and the rooms are exactly the same, but with water damage.

Was booked here for two nights this week. Inauspicious start when I received a welcome email emphasizing all the things they're not providing due to Covid. Um, didn't you hear? The covid emergency is over. Things didn't get any better. Checked in around 6 pm. "Upgraded" to high floor king, which turned out to be an interior corner cave of a room adjacent to elevators plus a connecting door. Back downstairs to request a normal room with normal sized window and no connecting door. They refused, claimed they were "booked full" and that I should be thrilled they gave me a room on the fifth floor I told them to check me out and left.

It's really a lodging wasteland in the tri-valley. I'll probably continue to stay in Oakland, despite the 30 minute drive to courthouse in Martinez.

Walnut Creek is a bit north of the Tri-Valley.

Consider the Marriott or Sheraton in Pleasanton.

Not any closer than Oakland considering the CCC courthouse is in Martinez.

Wow - thats horrific. I have attended events there but never stayed overnight. I cant say the Concord Hilton is a better option. The Lafayette Park hotel is quite nice but cant use or earn major chain points there.

another tri-valley option is the Marriott San Ramon. There is a new mall within walking distance that has some good dining options, as well as Whole Foods. A good option if you dont need to be near bart.
