Was booked here for two nights this week. Inauspicious start when I received a welcome email emphasizing all the things they're not providing due to Covid. Um, didn't you hear? The covid emergency is over. Things didn't get any better. Checked in around 6 pm. "Upgraded" to high floor king, which turned out to be an interior corner cave of a room adjacent to elevators plus a connecting door. Back downstairs to request a normal room with normal sized window and no connecting door. They refused, claimed they were "booked full" and that I should be thrilled they gave me a room on the fifth floor

I told them to check me out and left.
It's really a lodging wasteland in the tri-valley. I'll probably continue to stay in Oakland, despite the 30 minute drive to courthouse in Martinez.
