Wow - that’s horrific. I have attended events there but never stayed overnight. I can’t say the Concord Hilton is a better option. The Lafayette Park hotel is quite nice but can’t use or earn major chain points there.

another tri-valley option is the Marriott San Ramon. There is a new mall within walking distance that has some good dining options, as well as Whole Foods. A good option if you don’t need to be near bart.
