Marriott Heathrow Windsor (also known as Marriott Windsor Slough) - November 2011 update

Lounge is open seven days.
However breakfast is not served on weekend with restaurant breakfast provided at least for plats (room number confirmed upon check in at restaurant).

Lounge is open throughout weekend but staffed only for a modest appetizer/dessert service in early evening. Liquor available during staff time; other beverages plus light snacks such as crisps, hard candies and snack mix available all day.

as of Nov 27, 2011 this property is open on weekends--same daily service as weekdays including Breakfast featuring hot scrambled eggs (tasteless and strange looking eggs) and 2 kinds of breakfast meat (i think it was bacon and sausage but I didn't look carefully as I don't eat pork) . Exec lounge has one free computer with printer. Large outdoor terrace.

Please note I did NOT stay at a weekend but I asked the staff what the deal was. At this hotel Plats check in/out at the CL.

No breakfast coupons - was offended that I even dared to inquire about breakfast coupons.

Business center had 3 computers and 2 printers. Both printers were non-functional.

So - what's the point of claiming breakfast as a gold/plat benefit at Marriott when, over the weekends, most lounges are closed and few offer breakfast coupons?

San Francisco Marriott Marquis

Lounge Now Open 7 days a week (This is on a trial Basis according to Front Desk.) Breakfast Saturday and Sunday and evening snacks/deserts Friday and Saturday night. Lounge open between breakfast and evening snacks for drinks & chips. Hopefully, other Marriotts and Rens will follow.

Lots of people in the lounge Sunday AM taking advantage of free breakfast.

Another one bites the dust. Just stayed at the Renaissance Flatiron in Broomfield CO and was told at check in that they stopped providing coupons for breakfast back in October.

List updated. Keep them coming.

Just a reminder (most do this, but not all). Please put the property in your listing, not just the city/state. In some cases there is more than one Marriott or there's a Ren but not a Marriott, etc, etc. Saves me having to go to the Marriott site, plug in the city & look to which FTers are referring to in their posts. Thx!
