Madrid, Spain - AC Hotel Carlton Madrid - no lounge; no breakfast offered

Pamplona, Spain - AC Hotel Ciudad de Pamplona - no lounge; no breakfast offered
Very curious, I have rarely seen anyone charged for a child (non-teen) at a property. Also did you ask the AC hotels as I have always asked in Spain and they have provided it at no cost.

Park Lane lounge rules state £50 per day for third person in lounge. I am reporting that it was not enforced on a child. YMMV.

Ren Fira charged me €9 for breakfast for my child on 1 of 4 days. Per rules, only required to offer 2 breakfasts.

I asked for breakfast and was denied at both AC properties. Per rules, AC not required to offer breakfast and they didn't. Seems consistent with reviews.

Not sure what is so curious...

I guess what was curious is that I have had different experiences than you as was written in my post.

Grand Cayman, Marriott Beach Resort. It is a resort with no concierge, however, they did give my colleague and I both Platinum's, breakfast coupons for both mornings (Thurs & Friday) we were there. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen. Gorgeous hotel.

Houston / JW Marriott Downtown / CLOSED;

I'm here now and this is still accurate.

* Houston / Hotel ICON, Autograph Collection / NO LOUNGE; Breakfast buffet in restaurant; 08/14 update

I was here in August last year (2015) and this was accurate at that time.

* Las Vegas / Renaissance Las Vegas / CLOSED; free wireless in lounge & 1 i-net terminal; not key accessible on weekends but is key accessible during the week inbetween morning & evening offerings; Full brekkie in restaurant; 07/26/15 update

This is accurate as of Memorial Day weekend 2016.

* Honolulu-Oahu / Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa / NO LOUNGE; Gold & Plats receive 1 breakfast coupon per day (full buffet) good for only 1 person as part of $30 resort fee, no luck in requesting 2 per day; see property thread for other items included in fee; 07/16 update

* London / Marriott Kensington / OPEN; 2-inet terminals; 07/18/16 update

Here now, still accurate. However, one change since my last stay: Light Continental breakfast (pastries, cereal, yogurt) served in lounge (previously it was full English breakfast), and as it was last year, Golds and Plats have full English breakfast in restaurant.

Bogota Courtyard

No reports, so I assume no lounge. Will be there tomorrow, I'll provide an update.

Since the breakfast coupon is part of the resort fee, it sounds like golds & plats, & everyone else who gets charged a resort fee, gets one breakfast coupon. Thus, in effect, this resort property gives plats/golds exactly the minimum=bupkis.

1) Charleston, WV -- Marriott Town Center
2) OPEN for breakfast only. Concierge lounge is now on lobby level, adjoining the restaurant. We eat from the same buffet that's accessible for all guests. Concierge lounge patrons partake of all items except the omelet station, which would be an extra charge.
3) N/A
4) Free internet in business center -- terminals + printer
5) Info valid as of 7 August 2016

* Dulles / Airport Marriott / CLOSED Weekends, New Years, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Easter, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas; open for brekkie only in lounge on weekends; free wifi in lounge & i-net; 02/25/15 update

Still current as of yesterday - open daily for breakfast and Sun.-Thur. for the remainder of the day.

What is interesting is that the lounge has been relocated since November from it's previous third floor location to the site of the former Aviator restaurant adjacent to the lobby. This means, in turn, that you now access the very same breakfast from the lounge as everyone paying for it...no separate (reduced) breakfast buffet in the lounge.

Greetings - Dirk

JW Denver Cherry Creek

Though I haven't been myself, and having seen some posts about a closure, I called this hotel to inquire as to whether there is a concierge lounge. They said it has reopened and is also open on the weekends. I should have inquired for more specifics (as to hours, etc.), but did not. But thought this would be useful information for updating the thread.
