Does anyone think it's worth getting the TD credit card as suggested in the letter they sent out describing the changes?

Does anyone think it's worth reading the last few pages of this thread where it has been discussed whether their cards are worth it or not?

I read many pages of this thread but could not find an answer to below:
Any once can confirm if same teen (SSN) can be added to both parent's NW and US Buxx account? Will there be any adverse effect for just adding same teen on both parent's Buxx account?

I have no experience with TD, only USB. I do NOT suggest/advice using same teen name as parent or when getting a 2nd/3rd card. Someone I know had a lot of headaches when she had problems with the account; it was scrutinized and was found out she used the same parent SSN for her imaginary teens where she was warned it illegal to do so. Not long after her parent account was shutdown.

I'm not saying you can't get away with it but pray hard, you don't have a problem with your account that will need human intervention and make them scrutinize it. As long as you know the risks involved and willing to proceed inspite of known risks, just do it.

You question was a little convoluted, so what I think you're asking is:
Can you add a teen with a given SSN to USB Buxx, and also to NW Buxx?


If this is your question, I can answer that yes, one is able to do so. I have both of my kids (actual living humans with actual legitimate SSNs) on my USB Buxx account and also have both on my NW Buxx account.

I've had both accounts open for 6-7 months now and no issues thus far.
I cash out USB via ATM almost exclusively, and NW Buxx via MOs.

With TD option soon to be dead, what options other than WM BP/MO do folks use to withdraw their funds. I do not have access to USB ATM, so that's not an option. I have not yet used BP/MO at WM, but would like hear others experience.

Im confused by why people are saying this...while at a much reduced rate, it is still a way to manufacture spend, right? Can't you still pay a Citi credit card off with the TD card?

Thanks for quick reply. I am also interested to know if Myself and my spouse each has Parent's US Visa Buxx account, can we both add same teen (SSN) under each of our accounts? Can that also been done under NW Visa Buxx account?
