I have only one teen card for USB Visa Buxx. Loaded twice ($517.5*2), and on the My Account page the balance is shown as $1,035.00. But when I choose "Add New Funds", it shows that "Current Balance $3,105.00". Anyone knows what's going on?

I don't think so. The teen could be older than the parent.

They have birthday validation so you can't even submit the form with a non teenage-aged birthday (at least I believe for the TD one...my memory is hazy on US Bank and Nationwide). So yeah, my little army of teens has random teenage age birthdays and random SSNs.

Last I tried signing up for the TD Go Card, they definitely had validation for the teens. Note I said nothing about the relative age of the teen to the parent. Just that if the birthday you listed for the teen did not make them 13-18 as of the current day, the form validation failed. Unless they changed this in the last several months, this was how it was.

Bug has been going on forever. Just ignore it and keep track yourself of current funds/how much more you can load. View My Accounts page has the proper funds.

My case was that my "teen" is more than 25 yrs old. I signed up one month ago.

thanks, I misunderstood the wiki. That makes sense, as I have it across several cards.

Agreed. I haven't seen this across any of the cards that I've opened from recently to 7-8 months ago. All with ages 21+

TD Go card wasn't even launched 7 months ago. I signed up for it shortly after it launched and distinctly remember having trouble adding my second teen because of it was late at night and I was making a dumb arithmetic error. Although my problem was I was making the teen too young. Perhaps their validation only checks for >13, not < 18.

You're right. 5 months ago, not 7. I was thinking of Nationwide that I signed up for 7-8 months ago.
I had no restriction (across 4) for age. I entered accurate DOB, ranging in age from 21-48 with no issues.

Has anyone loaded OV or VGC? From my experience, GCs must be registered first, name and address. Vanilla non-loadables can only register zip codes. If there's a secret or workaround here, could someone share it? Thanks.

I only load with points earning credit cards. Otherwise its more fees.

That's right. Load with CC, fee at 0.5% (2.5*4/2000) with USB Buxx or 0.1% (1/1000) with TDB Buxx. Load with OV, fee at ~1%.

Sorry, too early in the morning. Let me clarify, I have a US Bank, Nationwide, and TD Bank buxx accounts with me as the parent and random SSNs as the teens under my name - my info is real, the 11 teens info were not validated. I do also have two US Bank accounts in my parents' name with multiple teens (all in my name). They are setup as AUs on biz cards, but right now I'm meeting their BA spend for them. Since BA lets you pool miles, I do get to benefit.

thanks! read through too many pages to find this, was worried about child validation

Just curious - is this 11 teens through the 3, or 11 teens per?

I have 11 teens across my 3 Buxx accounts (7 US Bank, 2 each for TD/Nationwide). My parents have 2 teens each under their 2 US Bank Buxx accounts. Their validation is so nonexistent I'm pretty sure I have the same "fat-fingered" SSN for a teen with my name for all 3 of our US Bank Buxx accounts.

thanks! That answered my next question too I guess...if there was a limit I should worry about :)

Did you sign up all accounts at the same time or gradual add?

I know f0xx mentioned ppl could pm him earlier (specifically this question)...but I am lazy :( and shy, please don't hurt me!
