I have had the temp card for about 3 months now and have been hitting loads pretty heavily at WM. I am now getting a message on my app that the last day to use my temp card is coming in a few weeks. Has anyone tried doing a self-close the account in hopes of avoiding shut down and maybe re-opening it later with a new temp card? Not sure if that is a viable option.
I believe this question has been answered by others although I don't remember anymore.

I had great success at the SCO doing loads, then my temp card expired and I was able to do a VGC load at customer service one time with my 'permanent' OnePay debit card. Tried several other times to load since then but the customer service person immediately gets a print out that says something like 'Debit not available'. I've tried loading via two different VGCs now and always doing the same thing. Any ideas?

I have no issues loading SE or GE cards at WM both at cashier or CSC. I also am not a heavy hitter, but also have the Cash Rewards card, which does have several requirements such as a DD of $500/mo or a $5000 saving account.
There are lower tiers for the One card and they may have restrictions that I don't know about. But the idea to try a $99 load is a good one. Unfortunately, this card is run by Coastal Bank and they have been taken to task by the Feds for ML lapses. So they are prickly about anything that looks like MLing.
