Sorry not sure what barcode you are referring to
On home page of One app, click Add Money Next screen is Cash Control, click Deposit Cash Next screen is Select account, select Debit or Savings After selecting account, click on blue Create Barcode at bottom of screen I used this at MC to deposit a $200 Staples MCGC. The CSR scanned my barcode, I told her the amount, then swiped the MCGC. I didn't have to show or swipe my One temp card. On the app, this deposit showed up as "Cash deposit," whereas adding MCGC at SCO show up as "Card Funded Swipe." FWIW, tried briefly using the barcode at SCO, but couldn't make it work. Maybe someone else has success at that. |

So did you use the card at SCO?
|
this is when you first buy the temp card (initial load) or can you load it multiple times at SCO?
|
I tried using my One debit card and it didn’t work at SCO (newer card reader). Unless there’s specific steps, I don’t think it’s possible

Is there a one-time or daily limitation of transfering funds out to a linked account (via plaid) in the One app? If I don't care whether my One account will be closed or not, is it possible to ach out all funds (20k so far) in one transaction?

I believe there are daily limits you can read about in the TOC. Don't know them off the top of my head...

I got that same letter back on 11/17/23 asking for the source of funds for my deposits. I had loaded $92k worth of $200 VGCs in about 6 weeks back in Sept/Oct without withdrawing anything, rather I left all the funds stashed in their 5% APY Savings acct to earn interest. I managed to string them along for another 2 weeks until the Nov interest payment hit around 4AM EST on 12/1, and then I immediately ACH'd all my funds out (except I left a few cents in there just to screw with them), and they shut my acct 9 hours later. Just got an e-mail last week that a check was in the mail for $0.03. Was a great little run while it lasted!!

With all the talk about shutdowns, I didn't want to leave any there. Haven't got a closure, I think it's because I'm careful about how I load, but that's just a total guess on my part. No real idea why or how they choose who to shut down

Thank you. Do you mean when every time you load money to One, you ach the money out on the same day (or shortly after)? How much do you typically ach out each time / per day?
