finally got two months worth of payments out of MYS by asking them to confirm the best address to send a legal demand letter to. have been working with them for years but after this experience won’t be doing business with them anymore.

That's painful as hell. which other groups you use or will be using instead?

Does anyone know how to reach Chinese, Singaporean, Korean groups? They lack a direct presence here in the US but seem to do the bulk of the buying.

New to this, can someone please explain something to me I think I am missing that is pretty basic.
BFM - the different column is never correct for me. Something will be listed as $100 retail, $110 payout... when I actually go to the retailer site, the cost is $149. Does BFM not even bother to keep this updated?

Not sure which group BFM is. Did you mean BFMR? Either way, prices change constantly, and it’s up to you to keep track and not buy when they do. Also, double check the items you are buying as different websites will switch to a different item/color if out of stock.

PM isway behind sending payment. Last update about payments was 01/17 for requests submitted before 01/05. They are slow to scan as well which make it 30+ from scanning to sending payments. Hmm.

I'm having the same problem with an order over $5,000 that they claim they didn't receive. Is there anything I can do?

Only a Lawsuit Will Speed Things Up

Unless they are hit with a lawsuit, pointsmaker will keep taking advantage of you. If they are in danger of sinking in debt, you should file a suit now to protect your funds.

Hi there,

Happy New Year. I now encountered an issue with the small claims court with Amazon. Subject: Seeking Advice on Legal Action Against Amazon

Issue: Amazon has closed my account and confiscated the remaining gift card balance inside. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter through various channels, I have taken legal action against Amazon in a small claims court. The lawsuit includes two demands: 1. Return the gift card balance in my account. 2. Refund the Prime Membership Fee.

Current Situation: Amazon has finally responded to the small claims court's summons (which requires the defendant to provide a written response within thirty days), and their response falls on the last day of the thirty-day deadline. In their reply, they deny all accusations related to gift cards and request that the plaintiff (me) compensate them for all legal fees. Regarding the demand for a refund of the Prime Membership Fee, they did not address it specifically. It's worth noting that Amazon has hired a local attorney to represent them in court, not their in-house legal team.

Dilemma: I am uncertain about the best course of action at this point. I have two main options. First, I could proceed with the court hearing, potentially recovering my losses if successful, but facing the risk of having to pay the defendant's legal fees if I lose. Second, I could withdraw the case before the hearing, preventing the defendant from requesting compensation for legal fees (as confirmed by court staff), but this would mean forfeiting any chance of recovering my losses.

Evidence: Unfortunately, my evidence is weak. I discarded all physical gift cards and receipts when I moved last year, and retrieving them is not feasible. The gift cards have various sources, including purchases from physical stores, point redemptions, and acquisitions from Raise. Due to the passage of time, finding supporting evidence is challenging. Credit card statements only show overall expenses from physical stores and do not specify Amazon gift card purchases. The only evidence I have now is the email notification of Amazon closing my account and the record of my Prime Membership fee payment. However, I cannot access my account to verify the specific details of the gift cards that were allegedly seized.

Seeking Advice: I am seeking advice on whether to proceed with the court hearing and the likelihood of success. If the chances of winning are slim, I may consider withdrawing the case to avoid incurring further losses.

How much gc did you lose? It is known that not to use amz gc to buy for buying group and even large amount of gc would raise a red flag for amz
on the state law/statute, you might/might not have to pay other side’s fees etc. try to look it up
btw: I am not a lawyer.

Mys payments

Hey guys, has anyone here that still deals with mys seen recent payments lately and how recently? I’m over a two month wait at this point and am going to have to consider sending legal documents at this points. I can float the wait but I’m starting to be concerned about a rug pull if nobody is seeing money

11/21… have opened 4 so far. Just wondering the last time people have seen payments and from when

Not a lawyer..... But I was under the impression that recovering legal fees was a) very unusual in US civil cases in general and B) not a thing in small claims court. That may vary by state and it's possible I'm entirely wrong. As I said ... not a lawyer. If it's true I would think the judge would look dimly on that kind of intimidation.

I guess in a normal civil trial you would be able to demand records from Amazon about your GCs in discovery. But unless you find a way to get that info from them it doesn't sound like you have much evidence.

Waiting over 10 weeks for MYS payments. Submitted several tickets. Avoid them at all costs. I've been buying for them for 4+ years, and even though wait times have been historically long, this is on a completely different level.
