Why could you not first order and wait for the shipping labels before you order the product you want to send to a BG? I think that this would avoid the obvious problem of getting an item and then not being able to ship it. Obviously, I have no experience using BGs. I think that the risk of loss far exceeds the gain and in truth, most of us here at MS land work on very thin margins ;) |
Does anyone still buying for MYS? I haven't done so at least 10 months or so. I found some not so bad and easy deals from MYS in October. But later found out the payments are surprisingly slow. Anyone knows how long the MYS process payments after request? Thanks

As of November 2023, here is my current opinion on some of the major buying clubs. If I don't mention them, I don't have any experience with them.
BuyForMeRetail (BFMR): Probably the best simply due to speed. It's usually same day scan-ins but they can get delayed by a few days when major buying events pop up (like Prime Days). Always next day ACH payouts once they scan in. In terms of deals, they don't have as many as other groups, but it's usually enough. Sometimes when items offer commission, BFMR tends to be $1-$2 lower than other groups, so it's your call if an extra dollar per item is worth a longer payout. BuyingGroup (formerly The Deal Buyer): They post more deals than BFMR but they also have cap on all of their deals, so you have to request it quickly or it gets maxed out. They've grown quite a bit in the past 2 years so cap goes fast assumingly because they have a lot of members. They are typically same day scan-ins, but payout is usually a few days or one week delayed. Pointsmaker: Stopped using them in 2023 besides a few deals. They don't really hold an edge over the aforementioned groups. Payout speed is about a week or two, scans take a few days, and they never have unique deals that any of the other more preferred groups have. MaxOutDeals: Just started with them a few months ago. They've had the highest commissions on deals, paying out an extra dollar or two here and there. They scan items in instantly, usually I get the scan email before I even get the "your item was delivered" email from Amazon. They are slow on payouts though, it's been as bad as 3 weeks since Prime Day, and I don't expect it to get better with Black Friday coming up. But they always have plenty of capacity compared to BuyingGroup. MYS: Avoid. Not many active deals, always below cost, always more below cost than competitors, slow to scan in, slow to pay out. |

Hello all.. new to MS here
Just tried my first order for BFMR for 2 firesticks totalling $35 on Amazon. Order got instantly cancelled and Amazon QLA email stated: We're writing to let you know we have canceled your order 114-4176801-2653 because it violates Amazon.com's quantity limit restrictions on select promotional and popular products. The Amazon.com has quantity limit restriction on select products to allow the promotional and popular products to be available to all Amazon.com customers. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact an Account Specialist by writing to [email protected] We look forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, Account Specialist Amazon.com |
Amazon nowadays isn't easy on ordering Amazon products and Apple products to buying groups. It also depends on your Amazon account history. Most of us got prime membership too

I just had an order of Echo Shows deliver yesterday to PM and the Amazon tracking status states: : "Package delivered to safe place." Does anyone know what that means? I've never seen that before

it means a group may or may not receive the package. Happens frequently if it’s after hours.
