Please note that the purported “evidence” in the form of an e-mail from PFS is actually a follow-up e-mail from PFS reminding folks to buy more tickets when they are released at 11:00 a.m. Ticket sales for east-coast venues were already underway when PFS announced that they would not be purchasing reseller and “platinum” tickets. Those restrictions were not part of the original PFS offer (unless you can produce an e-mail to the contrary).

I finally asked for a payout from PFS for the tickets, forgoing any commission which seems not likely at all, and now when I deposited my check, the check has been placed on an extended hold of 5 business days. I got this from my bank:

This money is subject to an an extended hold because we have confidential information that indicates that the check may not be paid.

This leaves me worried about my payment which is about $4400.

Did anyone here have any issues with their checks not clearing? TIA

Do you have any evidence of an email that says what you're claiming PFS said, with no restrictions?

When I saw the original email, I thought it was about the Scottish rock band Travis, and I deleted he email.

All tickets will be going on sale today, August 31st, with each show's sale starting at 10 AM local time in the respective city. This means that tickets will go on sale at 10 AM Eastern, 11 AM Eastern, 12 PM Eastern, and at 1 PM Eastern, depending on the show.

Below are some instructions and tips to help you be successful in purchasing tickets.
Travis Scott Specific Instructions:

• Tickets can be purchased for ANY Travis Scott Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus show listed on https://www.ticketmaster.com/travis-scott-tickets/artist/1788754.
• Do not purchase single tickets.
• Purchase tickets that are less than $300 list price. (It's fine if, after taxes and fees, it comes out to more than $300.)
• Ticketmaster won't let you purchase more than 8 tickets per show.

Travis Scott Specific Nice-to-haves:

• If there are GA (General Admission) Floor tickets available, please purchase those.
• Otherwise, try to get the cheapest available tickets.
• Best shows to purchase for are Atlanta and Boston.
• For the later hours (11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM Eastern), these cities are best: Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Brooklyn, New York, Newark, and Toronto.

Tips for getting setup:

• Use the fastest device and internet connection available to you.
• If possible, make sure all other apps, especially internet-using ones, are closed on your computer/phone.
• Clear your cache.
• Add your billing and card info to your Ticketmaster account for quicker checkout.
• Some banks may flag ticket purchases as fraud, so have a backup credit card if possible in case that happens to you.

Tips for prior to the on-sale time:

• Go to the show page you want to purchase and join the "Waiting Room" at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.
• The queues will be long, but we recommend remaining in the queue with the event you are waiting for, rather than trying to join a waiting room for a different event.

Tips for once you're let into the sale:

• You'll need to move quickly.
• Trying to get a large group of seats together (more than 4) will be much harder than getting a few sets of two seats.
• If you don't get tickets within the first 3-4 minutes, your next best chance is at the 7-8 minute mark, as that is how long you have to purchase, and every 7-8 minutes thereafter.
• Don't be discouraged if it looks sold out. Ticketmaster often releases tickets in small batches, or tickets become available after a failed purchase.
• In order to refresh inventory, there's no need to refresh the page; instead, you can go to [filter > apply filter]. You do not need to change any of the filter settings; just hitting apply filter will refresh the available seats.

EVEN IF you already accepted a payout and their legal jargon, you are STILL very likely entitled to a full payout, commissions, and possibly card interest. An attorney has advised that the arbitration clause we all signed is likely unenforceable in court due to the circumstances (and the type of arbitration it is), and it will move to a class action suit.

I just got cashed out by them. I honestly thought they wouldn't be able to follow through after the drubbing they took on this, but they delivered so I am impressed (the tickets I bought were some of the worst hit). I actually took the 1.99% hit for electronic transfer as I didn't want anymore surprises.

Maxout Deals
 

I pre-ordered 2 ihones after Maxout Deals promised to provide shipping labels and buy them. After 3 attempts to get labels, they tell me that they temporarily stopped buying them. I was able to return one to Apple but was too late for the other. Since I requested a shipping label before they posted on Discord that they are not buying, what recourse do I have?

None. You have no recourse with buying groups. That is the risk that you take when participating. You can either wait to see if their temporary pause is indeed temporary or you can try to recoup as much as you can by trying to sell that phone locally.

Gift it, Use it or take some loss and sell on Swappa or ebay.
