We are writing to let you know that we have observed unusual usage patterns on your Bluebird Account. Because of this, effective immediately, you will no longer be able to add money to your Account.1 We have made this change in accordance with Section 22.d of our Member Agreement, which you can view here.
Please be aware that you continue to have full access to the funds on your Account and can withdraw them at any time.
Once your balance reaches $0, please close your Account online via your Profile page accessible here. Scroll down to the Close Account section and click “Close Account.”

One bluebird shutdown here. No email for my wife yet but I haven't loaded hers in 6 months or more. <$2000/mo on average of gift card loads, just to meet minimum spend.
Edit to add, I am not surprised that Bluebird is shutting down or shutting down people who load gift cards, but I am surprised that the email is so vague and making it seem like there was fraud on your accounty rather than just coming out and saying the issue.

They are looking at a longer loading pattern than just this month. I haven't loaded anything on my bluebird account yet for January. I've been doing $500 loads for a couple years, however.
