Bluebird Shutdowns
 

Just got an email from Bluebird: "We are writing to let you know that we have observed unusual usage patterns on your Bluebird Account. Because of this, effective immediately, you will no longer be able to add money to your Account."

My activity has consisted of loading gift cards and paying credit card bills.

And so it ends.

My Serve just got shut down too.

I just got this on my bluebird as well.

my [mildly used] serve just got shutdown. it's over, folks.

Dang, this is the end of an era in MS. So many methods revolved around Amex prepaid card loading...

Yup, I got the same thing. What were your loads like? Mine for this month:

1/2: $500
1/6: $400 ($200x2)
1/7: $600 ($200x3)

I know that's a lot less volume than a lot of MSers. I'll call but don't have a lot of hope. Once I draw the balance down, I'll close it, wait a month and open Serve and see what happens.

Just got the same emails for Serve and Bluebird. Glad I got this TODAY as I was about to buy $3000 worth of VGC tomorrow...

The hammer dropped here too.

Same for my Softserve. It was fun while it lasted I guess.

Looks like they came down hard. I got shut down on my own serve and a bluebird I manage.

I just got this on my bluebird as well as my wife's.

all 3 of my family bluebird accounts shut down. I had no illegal activity. Just would buy GC cards each month and then pay of the CC i used to buy them for MS OUCH

Damn, I got Serve shutdown as well.
What's the way forward?
From the few reports here, seems like family accounts are being shutdown the same time as well.

All of our bluebirds and serves shutdown ... wow......
