You can save physical paper receipts and/or use google forms for tracking. Personally, I like Google forms because you can reach it from all devices. Transfer to excel, backup monthly and you have a nice searchable record of purchases and loads.

I've no idea. I created my own Google forms based on that blog. It's handy for keeping track of purchase as you make them. I think it's easier. Based in other things I've read, I think it's wise to keep receipts and cardboard wrappers for awhile, just in case there's a problem. Everyone has their own system. Took me awhile before I found one that worked.

I'm switching soon to scanning everything and keeping more detailed records. I figure my bank and credit card issuers have all the transaction info, but having digital receipt scans to match up deposits with payment methods will substantially allay any concerns a federal agent might have about my activities.

Clever. I've thought about tagging everything in Mint, but it just seems like a lot of work to separate all the legitimate Wal-Mart, CVS, Target, etc. expenses from the other stuff.

Recordkeeping - What Are Your Best Practices?
Currently I keep all receipts of my GC purchases in addition to the physical receipts of my RB/Serve loads. I also retain all email notifications related to the loads. Ill probably keep them for at least 1 year then get rid them.
The GCs - packages and cards themselves - are thrown after 1-2 months the funds have left my RB/Serve accounts.
I would like to hear other peoples recordkeeping best practices. In your experience, what do you keep? For how long and your reasons for doing so. Thanks.

I keep everything on EverNote - photos of cards, last 4 and 3 on the back typed in, photos of receipts, AGC order numbers, MO's, etc. I highly recommend the unlimited storage plan. EverNote is ideal for MS purposes - I've found it a lot more useful than Microsoft OneDrive, for instance..

I simply wrap groups of gift cards with related receipts, toss them in an envelope, mark each with the month and year. Seal it and stick it on a shelf. Haven't thrown anything away yet, the envelopes only occupy a small amount of shelf space.

Hasn't there already been a thread about this?
