You can save physical paper receipts and/or use google forms for tracking. Personally, I like Google forms because you can reach it from all devices. Transfer to excel, backup monthly and you have a nice searchable record of purchases and loads.

ZzzzX, I love your blog post. Very informative. I'm going to start organizing my scanned receipts in a Google Spreadsheet. Do you think it would be ok if I threw away my physical receipts if I had a digital scan of them?
