The CITI Double Cash appears nice, but it is reported you cannot earn the double cash from loading a BUXX and then paying it by phone.
I know some who don't get their extra 1% for their payment because they redeemed their CB for statement credit. Doing this will definitely not earn 1% CB.

Added a note to the wiki that the NW balance limit per card is $1000. If you try and load past this, you will be given the (misleading) message that you have exceeded the maximum "number of reloads." This information is buried deep in this thread, but was not in the wiki. Good to keep in mind.

NOT true for me and many others I know. We have been getting 2% on DCB mastercard for the past several months for USB (now closed) and NWbuxx. I have also used 2 cards to make a payment on my outstanding balance.

I had based my comment on earlier discussion, about March 13.

Nice to know the venture can be used to load the NW BUXX. Can one also pay the debt incurred off by paying by phone, or must one look for a different way to unload the card? For those that don't have an easy way to unload their NW Buxx, this would be convenient.

NW Buxx to load Serve at Walmart KATE
I have successfully done $200/week Serve load at WM KATE from NW Buxx cards. I thought I had read somewhere that Serve loads at WM should count toward the spend limit, not the ATM limit, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Am I doing something wrong?

From Wiki: •Max spend per rolling 7 days: $800....does this mean you can only pay off $800 at a time if paying Citi cards over phone?
Does Buxx have billpay or would I need to load to Serve to pay off non-Citi cards (and Citi I can call)?
If I set up a Buxx account, can I order my 4 additional cards right away or should I go slow?

$800 max spend per rolling 7 days per card; IME Citi has allowed me to pay with 2 cards with $800 each per day. This refreshes my CL to increase $1.6K that I can use immediately.
I think USB had B/P feature but I didn't use it because paying with Serve/BB was much easier and user friendly. I'm not sure if NWb has one.
I didn't order my cards all at one time, I put intervals of 6 to 8 weeks, so far so good. IDK of consequences if they are all ordered at the same time.

Has anyone tried paying Chase on phone like Citi? Or can we use debit card in branch to pay CC off?

Thanks for the help. Also, I didn't see any mention of 'buxx' without a brand (i.e. https://www.buxx.com ) How does this compare to NW Buxx?

don't make the same mistake as me.
Dear Sir,
I am relatively new at this too. I signed up for the Buxx.com debit card. There is a monthly fee of 4.95 and a huge load fee of 2.50. The max you can load is 250 dollars at a time making it a 1% load fee if you maximize your load each time PLUS the monthly fee. I can't see a scenario where anyone can gain from this card. I am going to cancel my card and ask for a refund of the 10 dollar balance.

The max number of loads on that card is high. One could probably make a small surplus using a 2% card, with frequent reloads driving down the monthly fee. I am actively looking for a CU or bank card similiar to the BUXX. I know they exist, I know people here know of alternatives. Just have to find them (PM me mamibear/others)
