•Max ATM per week: ($200 - but only if specifically enabled online, including PIN setup). •Max # of CC on file is 2.
•Max balance per card: $1000

If you card fails to load, check to see if there are at least 7 calendar days between loads, make sure the load won't bring your card above the maximum balance, or try the other CC.

Funding with Citi cards codes as a purchase for NW Buxx.

Wait, does this still work? In the Citi wiki it's listed as giving a verification error as of March 2015. If it's still working though, that's great!

I can confirm that this works very well. I use this every few days to pay my 2 Citi cards.

Withdrawing funds that haven't been cleared?

I loaded my NW Buxx with $500 using my Citi card. It shows the balance as $500 on my teen's card, but on Citi's end, it shows it as a pending transaction. What's to stop me from withdrawing the uncleared $500 now (via BB or ATM)? What if the transaction drops off (doesn't clear) on Citi's end? Would it end up showing a -$500 balance on the account?

Well obviously it's going to show up as pending on your Citi card. It's a purchase just like every other purchase you make on your card. None of those go immediately to posted so why would you expect this one to?

I know there is a limit of 5 cards per household (which I have already reached back in the days) but my relative ordered another card under her name with a teen living at my address. So instead of putting her address, she put my address for shipping. Now it has been more than 10 days and no sign of cards. Credit Card was charged and card was approved back in september. Anyone else has simialr experience? I know she will need to call ultimately but how is the over all CS response?

I wasn't asking why it would go to pending. I was asking why the funds would immediately be available on the NW Buxx before they even clear on the cc's side.

Misunderstood your question. However, that's the way it always goes. It's the same thing if you were to go buy a GC from a grocery store/pharmacy.

Do you need to drain the card once balance hits $1K or can you keep adding fund to card and say drain it at $3k level?

Hi, just joining this thread. How do you unload a Buxx card? Is there BillPay?

Is it a limit of $500 per week and $1000 per month per TEEN or per ACCOUNT? In other words, if I "have 5 teens" in my house, I can load $5000 per month to my Citi cards and then use the NW Buxx account to pay the card off at a cost of only $20? Does Chase count it as a purchase or a CA?

I've had the account for a while but haven't set it up. Now that RB is dead, I'm going to start adding "teens" and using it.

Also, when adding teens, I just make up names and SS#, right?

Now that RB is dead, you're looking for an alternative as well, huh? I don't believe there is a billpay feature, but you can pay Citi cards over the phone and you can also withdraw $200 a week per card. Check the Wiki above for more info.

The cards can only be shipped to the billing address of the credit card that was used.

Forget even a GC.

If you buy milk, get home, and check your cc, you'll see it as pending, right?

Are you not allowed to drink the milk until it gets finalized? Would the store not release the milk to you until it's finalized?

Once the merchant has the authorization, they have a guarantee they'll get the money. That's it. Done.

How about other banks like Chase? Wiki only has Citi. Withdrawals won't help as I can't deposit cash into my checking account, and I imagine I'd max out my RB/BB/Serve loads so can't load cash to that.
