Buxx cards can only be loaded with a Visa or MasterCard.

NW Buxx

•Initial purchase fee: $5 (waived with promo code: 02050053 - ( the promo code appears to be working consistently)
•$2 load fee
•Max load per rolling 7 days: $500
•Max load per rolling 30 days: $1,000
•Max ATM per week: ($200 - but only if specifically enabled online, including PIN setup). No fee for some Allpoint ATMs (no way to know in advance if the Allpoint ATM will ding you $1; check your account carefully and call if necessary to reverse the $1 charge…IME 2/3 Allpoint ATMs do charge the fee).
•Max spend per rolling 7 days: $800
•Max # of CC on file is 2.
•Max balance per card: $1000
•Max of 2 loads per CC per 7 day rolling period.

If you card fails to load, check to see if there are at least 7 calendar days between loads, make sure the load won't bring your card above the maximum balance, or try the other CC.

Funding with Citi cards codes as a purchase for NW Buxx.

I had a smooth ride using Arrival+ loading NW and USB. But now my Arrival+ is coming to an end. I need to replace the load card.
I was thinking of using Venture Spark (business version), but I read one guy got closed down with just 5 load to NW.
Since one can only add/remove CC limited # of time, will appreciate if you can share which card you are using to max your yield for NW and USB load?

I have a question, how are you guys loading more than $200 a pop on either RB or Serve? I can only get $200 at a time, is it because i set a limit? should i turn it off? I'm pretty sure I've seen people load $400 or even $800 at one time.......... or am i wrong??? Thanks!

i was looking and i had it setup for $200 cash access, if i say no to this, will i be able to do $400 or even $800 a load now?

Load in store, not online.

Ok, I'm thinking after reading through a ton of posts in this thread, I may have buggered up NW Buxx account. I created it about a month ago, but haven't used it yet. I loaded three different cards, but I think I may be asking to be shutdown with the way I set up the cards. They are

Card 1 -- My first/last name and SSN
Card 2 -- My first/mi/last name and SSN
Card 3 -- Spouse name and SSN

They are all three sitting there with the initial load on them. Everything setup fine. Anything to be concerned about? If so, any way to fix it (i.e. cancel cards, etc.)?

Can we load Redcard with the USB Buxx card? If so, how much can we load at a time?

NWBuxx question:

I have 5 teen cards and 2 funding sources. Can I fund them all in one month? I don't think I can. Here is my plan:

Load the first 4 cards on the 1st and the 8th of the month

* Fund cards 1 and 2 with my Arrival+ with 2 payments each of $500
* Fund cards 3 and 4 with my Chase Club United with 2 payments each of $500

Load card five

* Fund card 5 on the 16th and 24th with my Arrival+ with 2 payments each of $500

I think that doesn't work unless it's a 31 day months right? There would only be 6 days until the first of the following month.

Is there any tightening up that I could do to this schedule? '7 rolling days' means you can't fund it till the 8th day.

Another Newbie question. If an Allpoint ATM says the terminal owner charges $2.75 to use the ATM, do I still actually pay that if I am using NW buxx? I used the online locator, and it said that ATM was free. Is this normal?

Best advice is to avoid the Allpoint ATMs altogether. If you have Citi credit cards, paying them off over the phone is the easiest.

DC = Citi Double Cash? You can't load Serve or RB with a credit card in store nor online. You can load Serve online with certain Amex cards* but RB is debit only. In store it's debit only for all Amex prepaid goodies.

I think he meant DC = Debit Card.

I have one citi card, but I run a very volume on it. I would need to find another way. I may need to stick to strictly Target then if I can't get an ATM to work. There is another allpoint atm in a local walgreens, but after seeing the 2.75 on the one yesterday, I may punt the buxx idea if that sticks.

I've had semi-regular issues loading Redbird with NW Buxx. Even when there are no time or load restrictions and a sufficient balance, I sometimes get a "pin number incorrect" message. This will happen with one card when another one on the same load schedule will be fine. No rhyme or reason.

This has happened often enough I'm not going to bother loading the bird with those anymore. Back to Citi payments only for me.

Can the NW BUXX card be used to pay credit cards off online? I see people paying their Citi cards over the phone with the BUXX card but what about Chase, etc?

Citi definitely works.
I don't believe Chase does because otherwise people would talk about it more frequently.
I heard a rumor that Capital One might work, or at least that it did a few years ago. I'm going to test it this afternoon and will report back.
