Buxx cards can only be loaded with a Visa or MasterCard.

NW Buxx

•Initial purchase fee: $5 (waived with promo code: 02050053 - ( the promo code appears to be working consistently)
•$2 load fee
•Max load per rolling 7 days: $500
•Max load per rolling 30 days: $1,000
•Max ATM per week: ($200 - but only if specifically enabled online, including PIN setup). No fee for some Allpoint ATMs (no way to know in advance if the Allpoint ATM will ding you $1; check your account carefully and call if necessary to reverse the $1 charge…IME 2/3 Allpoint ATMs do charge the fee).
•Max spend per rolling 7 days: $800
•Max # of CC on file is 2.
•Max balance per card: $1000
•Max of 2 loads per CC per 7 day rolling period.

If you card fails to load, check to see if there are at least 7 calendar days between loads, make sure the load won't bring your card above the maximum balance, or try the other CC.

Funding with Citi cards codes as a purchase for NW Buxx.
TD Bank Go Buxx

•Can only be loaded with TD Bank credit cards, debit cards or direct deposit
•Initial purchase fee: $4.95 + $1 load fee

•Max per ATM withdraw: $60/week. (No fee at TD Bank.)
•Max balance: $2,000
•Max transactions: no limit
•Max load per funding TD CC (across multiple teens): $6,000 per 30 days

Limits are per teen card, not per master account

TD Bank card loads are treated as purchases by TD Bank and earn points.

What is the normal recourse when NW Buxx charges an ATM fee for Allpoint ATM withdrawal? Just report it each time or what?

Yes. Alternatively don't use an ATM but the Walmart cash back option for $100 along with something you need anyway. Just buy the cheapest piece in your cart with the NWB, get $100 back, and then pay the rest with your regular grocery card.

I wait until I have 10-12 ATM charges before calling, and they'll do one adjustment to reimburse you for all of them.

By the way, if you have an offer on your Citi Preferred card like extra 2pts on everything, do not use it to load your NW buxx card - you don't get extra 2pts on loads, only regular 1pt. Found it in hard way, since I was expecting much more points than it was posted. It was the same issue last statement, but I wasn't careful enough to check.

with Citi DCB, no CA and get 2% if charges paid by statement cut. as an added precaution, request to lower your CA to zero, especially if you have no use for that feature. they are glad to oblige.

Positive about that? Several ppl have reported that you only get the 1% for the load but not the 1% for the payment...

100% sure since August 2014 up to March statement post date. My calculations tally with Citi's calculations since I pay all charges on or before statement cut leaving me with zero balance.

So apparently my local grocery store no longer MOs from pre-paid debit cards... WM is a pain to get to and no US Bank ATMs around. Any suggestions for easiest liquidation method at this point?

Starting this month, I am using Citi Preferred heavily for both NW Buxx and US Buxx.
US Buxx is posted as purchase under DIRECT MARKETING/DIRECT MARKETERS
But, NW Buxx is posted as purchase under MORTGAGE COMPANIES-FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

Issue you identified is just with NW Buxx usage? Have you also used Citi Preferred with US Buxx?

I only loaded NWbuxx, didn't try USbuxx. Let us know if you get extra points for loading usbuxx.

I got 2% so I won't ask.

You may have to do your own experiment on what isn't eligible for 2%. I suggest you can start with reading full cardmember's agreement of DCB.

This is what I do, too. Just call in June and January. Keep your life simple.

So what seems to be the consensus on the Citi Double Cash for both the USBuxx and NWBuxx?
