Evolve just sucks! They denied my payment after making $1,000 and said it's because my SO made payments to the same account, which she is the account holder on as well. They said they permanently disabled the biller and there is nothing they will do. I wasn't even trying to circumvent any rules. I was just paying one mortgage and that's it. But I didn't get any emails or notices from them about changes to the 4 payments per month or a notice that my bill was denied and account was locked.
I would be really careful dealing with this company. The card I used to pay now have a zero balance because Evolve authorized a charge. I have to wait 10 days to get my money and the telephone customer service at Evolve is atrocious. It's worse than American Express Gift Cards which I thought would be impossible to be worse than. |

I just called, 4 payments/mo maximum per bill pay account. Since the limit is $1000/day, you can make up to $4000/mo per bill (over 4 days). The issue is that for those with more than $2000/mo that needs to be paid (like my mortgage), time to be creative and pay part of the bill with a non-prepaid debit card like Paypal Business Debit or regular bank one.
Or find a way to buy $1000 OV or VGC! Thoughts? |

I made 46 payments to one biller this last month. With a Rep in this thread, they should have known what they were in for. I did not get an email, just a red error message to call them when trying to process #47. When I called, I waited about 10 minutes before someone informed me that they have changed the payment limit to 4 per month and it resets on the 1st of the month. I was told I did nothing wrong, just that they had changed their policy.
It sucks, as I had a nice little loop but back to the old way to liquidate/billpay. |

$1000 OV or VGC would be fantastic. Lower fees, more Evolve.

No reason to save when you have an unlimited supply. Still cheaper than a GC and you can pay up to $1000 with them through Evolve.

Decided to stop using evolve since it is such a hassle, with the exception of small monthly gas/electric bills. I've got some large car/daycare/mortgage bills and due to the caps it is way less hassle to just pay the extra fees and do amex for target.

Since I was mainly using this as a way to cash out $200 Staples VGCs I can now only pay for $800 of my mortgage before I'm tapped out. This month I paid the rest with a T-Mo card on my mortgage company's website. They allow Visa debit card payments on there. Tried a VGC and it wouldn't work. Oh well, I guess I'm earning 5% CB paying the rest with T-Mo at least.

Any experiences with Nationstar Mortgage? I'm planning on making the payments this weekend so that they all post on Monday. Has anyone tried that with this company?
