Are those really the updated limits? I couldn't find them before.
You don't need WM for BB if you have CVS's?

You do need WM for BB if you can't purchase VRs with a CC at that particular CVS location.

OK, the cards are in the wild. Have seen at two Duane Reade locations (NY and NJ).

Talked to sales person about CC load, said no. But that's just a talk. Nothing more.

According to terms and conditions can be loaded up to $1,500 from debit card for ~$3 fee. Bill pay is ~$1. Not cheap...

I'd say it adds $1.25 to each $500 to liquidate this way ($3 / 3 + $1 / 4 (thinking of 2k bill pay chunks)).

If you can load the walgreen card with a credit, is it worth it then?

I'm on good terms with the manager of my local walgreens and said he would have no problem. Loading it with my credit card.

Would the load qyalify as a transaction?

It depends if cash register allows credit card tender at all for this sort of transaction.
I tried once to buy Money Pak at Duane Reade (Walgreens) with credit card and even though cashier let me swipe my card, it didn't go through.
So just try it first.

Yes, it's a good value if it works. $3 for 500 load is good. $3 for 1500 load is even better.

Cool...I guess that's what I'm going to do then. Only a manager has the ability to allow the use of credit card to load the debit card.

thanks.

Walgreens/duane reade balance reload card

Card is issued by Bancorp. You can purchase reloads directly through register using credit card according to clerk. Cash out using money order or cash advance (2500 daily limit) as per terms. Anyone try these yet??

There's already a thread on this.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...method-ms.html

It's only PIN Debit or Cash FYI.

Edit: Now it's been merged.

Ya see, I am not sure b/c my local Duane Reade (NYC pharmacy owned by Walgreens) told me Credit IS allowed on these, although I did not purchase it yet as I wanted to learn some more before.
