Do NOT let Rite-Aid scan the GoBank barcode. You will be charged, but your funds won't load. It is a PIA to get your funds back.
Want to stay active? Be sure to only load when your balance is at or close to 0. Continuing to load when you have funds in there seems to be a no no. Swipes are recommended, but there are folks active that don't swipe.
Lots of $200 loads can get you shutdown. GoBank does not like paying load fees on low denomination loads. Two $500 loads is better than five $200 loads.

rodsren (closed)- the dapperdon warned me. I was closed today after less than 5,500 or loaaing in less than 3 weeks (was going to try to keep it to 7,500 - 10,000 but didn't luck out.)
binnycode (closed, re-opened) - 7x $200 loads + 1x $700 load + 3x $500 over 2 days got me shut down. Called CSR and they re-opened my account, letting me know that "direct deposit would reduce my number of trips to walmart" lol!

All accounts (i.e. family members as well) closed today. Can't even do BP right now; although, there is a balance on some of them. No volume at all. Just a few K / month.

This card is officially useless. If anyone gets one, I would suggest hitting it hard till you get shut down. Having it for 2-3K/mo isnt even worth it IMO...

My account was closed today as well. I survived 6 months. I loaded a lot each month ($8K-$15K), but I also did some big purchases each month (~$1K) to make them happy. It seems they were for 2 months, but they ended it.

Curious as to those getting shut down...is it happening on your cycle date or just at any random interval?
My last statement closed 8/6, so I expect my next statement will be closing this week. If I get through that it will be 4+ months that I have been going at about $5K/month on 2 cards.
Also interested in those who were shutdown (or still going) what your participation in the beta was?
I sympathize with all who are getting shut down, but saying the card is worthless seems a bit overkill. Even if it was only $1K a month...it is an easy $1K a month with no additional fees and no effort involved (assuming you are already loading BB).
I'm trying to prepare for a shut down with a couple of other methods, cross my fingers though I can last out the year. One would hope that the longer term customer, assuming habits don't change, you have a better chance of being ignored...

If you are just starting, I think it might be worth trying to push 2500/day if you can conceivably churn that every day for the whole month.
That would mean you could get 75K through in a statement cycle. I think most people who are still going strong are sticking under 5K a month (though that isn't the sole factor for longevity). So if you can really churn through 50-75K in a month I think that may be worth it.
If I had the time and ability to pick up 2500 GC every day and load them through my GB, I think I would risk it. If I was able to move 60K that would be the equivalent of what I do in a year at 5K/month.
*BUT* You should review this thread though to see any instances of people getting shut down for large spending even after only a few loads. I seem to remember some got calls after only a couple of transactions...

Just checked and both accounts (wife and mine) still active, going into month #2 while doing ~$7.5K last month on each. Really hope it does not end as GB is the best for unloading CG from Chase, OD & Staples.
