Do NOT let Rite-Aid scan the GoBank barcode. You will be charged, but your funds won't load. It is a PIA to get your funds back.
Want to stay active? Be sure to only load when your balance is at or close to 0. Continuing to load when you have funds in there seems to be a no no. Swipes are recommended, but there are folks active that don't swipe.
Lots of $200 loads can get you shutdown. GoBank does not like paying load fees on low denomination loads. Two $500 loads is better than five $200 loads.
Shut down reports:
Please list your load/spend/billpay details (in a single statement/lifetime?) e.g.,
type of load, number of loads, denomination of your gc or mp, amount of your billpay, any actual swipe/dd?

binnycode (closed, re-opened) - 7x $200 loads + 1x $700 load + 3x $500 over 2 days got me shut down. Called CSR and they re-opened my account, letting me know that "direct deposit would reduce my number of trips to walmart" lol!

Four deposits - $100, $500, $2500, $2500, $1500 then bill pay out two days later for around the same amounts. All deposits were from $500 GC's (Thank You Chase!) at Wally World. Like I stated twelve small debits/credit withdraws.

So you followed the technique that I have understood from this forum, which is: do a deposit and then make a payment, and then do a deposit and payment and so on?
Did you clear your first statement?
Thanks!

Ouch! My phone # is a Google Voice # and it doesn't work for sign-up:
"Please provide a valid mobile number. Note: This can’t be a virtual phone number."
I literally use this # for everything in the states - banks, credit cards, home, business, etc. and have never had this problem.
Anybody have any ideas? I tried my Textplus # too and it didn't work either.

I use google voice number for GoBank. It declined me first. On repeat attempts with same number, it accepted.

How did you deposit $3000? I thought daily load limit was $2500.

Agreed - but why not open more biz bank accounts and funnel more MO thatw ay. GB has dumped me and I am not sure it works for most. Some have survived the GB story - BRAVO to them, but for the most part GB is the pain and WM is not. Finally, for a few more cents there are MANY other places to buy paper.

Maybe they have eliminated most of their client base already and decided to keep some to keep bank running

And here we go.... Just got dumped. Not on a statement end. I survived the 1st month (8/15 statement) but have just had my account closed. I'm guessing they are doing a purge.
No bill pay at all. All load (under $4k) and MO out at WM. Total loaded in a month and a bit $12.7k. Peanuts. I wish I'd gone harder at this rather than trying to figure out a way to keeping it alive.
These guys really piss me off. They get a debit swipe fee every transaction, They get the float. they are not paying out anything so why the anal attitude towards MS?

to those who recently got booted...are you logging in online or strictly sticking with mobile app?
Also, are you paying any voluntary fees per month?
