You should only do what you are comfortable with. People do more than 10K and feel fine, some people don't even do full $2,600 with one card and feel afraid.

We always seem to have this discussion and there is no real way to give a definitive answer. Some charge 10k, but they also might have higher credit limits and a higher monthly spending average.

The reason for no definitive answer is that fear and surprise, surprise and fear are the main weapons of The Spanish Inquisition. That, said your credit limit, percentage credit utilization, random reviews, whether what you are buying is on the latest "hot list" and the like all influence whether you will be rounded up with the usual suspects.

this is somewhat related to Chasegiftcards

for those who use Kiosks at WM, which option do you choose to load BB? I have found the option for GoBank but none of the options seem to work for BB, so have to do it thru a human.

It's called "Walmart MoneyCard" and I believe it's the first choice on the screen on the upper left.

Just to follow up, I called Chase this AM. They simply wanted to confirm my new address and that my identity had not been compromised. Very quick/painless and my cards are on the way!

Thanks.

I used these cards to buy money orders this morning. However, after I entered my pin, the transaction was declined. Do you know why?

Try it again. It's always worked for me. Also, make sure the pin is right.

Yet you still didn't correct your original post. It should be 0.084 cpp, or 0.00084 dollars per point. Units are important.
