Take a look at the wiki. :)

So far no card has treated it like a CA. I assume because we select it as a "purchase of goods."

I must be getting senile :p I thought I read the whole Wiki before posting. Thanks.

Sorry to hear you got shutdown. How long was it after your most recent transaction till you received the call about being blocked?

Would you be able to just sign up again or would they block you by your SSN?

I have successfully signed up again after account closure. Used a new email address, but same SS, home address, and CCs.

Have you been able to send money again?

If so, when we were blocked, we would just restart and get a new account. Sounds too good to be true. There must be a down side that I am missing.

I did not expect that. I was under the impression that the entire household get blocked.

Anyone else have experiences signing up after being blocked?

There have been some reports in the thread before.
But they were subsequently shut down later IIRC.

Has anyone been able to sign up someone else in the house after being shutdown? I currently do AP, but if for some reason I get shutdown, can I sign my wife up?

Why couldn't you? Unless they shut her down too. You'll be fine.

To be safe you could create your own independent account on AP, instead of using your active Amazon account.

Dang. I messed up my monthly AP. I was doing all transfers at one time, using Amex GC to liquidate on one acct. I sent A->B but when I went to send from B, I sent the AP balance instead of with the credit card :-( So now I am down a transfer method.

So I am an even bigger idiot. Last night at 12:30 am, I realized that when I screwed up before it didn't count against my $1k credit card initiated send/receive. So I really had not messed anything up but of course I would remember it 30 mins after the start of the month.

But I thought that I would check just in case Amazon wasn't in the same timezone. And lucky me it wasn't!! So I was able to do this transfer before the end of the month.

Got my first "Pending" message that lasted longer than a minute today. I guess it's karma for my April Fool's joke yesterday.

Funny because last night was the first time I've every gotten auto completes on all six accounts.

I didn't know what to do with myself!
