I was wondering if anyone has ever used a Serve account as the receiving account B? I have a completely separate bank account for account B but it doesn't have a bill pay function so I end up withdrawing to my normal bank account.

I was thinking about setting up an Isis Serve for my wife, AP counted toward the DD so kind of a double win. Thoughts?

I've been doing this for months.

adding a CC to my account via amazon or payments.amazon results in it not being visible when trying to send a payment.

any idea why?
thanks
ps
adding other cards works fine. Just sending money with another card I need to hit a threshold on. not a big deal. more curious than anything :)

I had this happen to me. I deleted the card then added it again. I manually entered all the address info the second time. It solved the issue.

For those of you with multiple accounts. Did you send in verification of identity when requested or were you able to create 2nd accounts without needing to send in forms?

Some people have needed to do so. Personally, I have not had to.

Opened up another account and tempted to turn it in, but my last attempt to open a 2nd account resulted in immediate termination of the 2nd account upon submitting info.

Don't think I'm going to risk it...

Request for "Billing Statement"?

Hello all. With the demise of VR, just opened an AP account and sent $1000 to a trusted friend, Trusted friend also opened an AP account linked to her bank account. After sending the first payment, she received the following email from Amazon. Is this unusual? I haven't seen any mention of this before. Any recommendations for how one responds? Thanks very much for the help.

Greetings from Amazon Payments.

Please fax us a copy of a recent billing statement confirming the business/personal name, address, and telephone number that you provided during registration. You can fax this documentation to our fax number at 1-800-887-0540 or 001-206-765-3424 when faxing from outside the U.S.

To ensure that your fax is processed in a timely fashion, please be sure to include the email address associated with your Amazon Payments account.

Did your friend wait until their AP account was confirmed by Amazon? Also your friend's bank account information was confirmed as well? You can't just setup an AP account and then in 20 mins start transferring funds. There is at least a 2-3 day lead time needed for Amazon to confirm your information as well as confirm your bank account.

Hi Eric: Yes, she waited until her account was confirmed by Amazon and the bank information was confirmed as well. And she didn't try to transfer the funds from her AP account to the bank account at all--she got the letter after receiving the funds from me. From your response, it sounds like this is pretty unusual?

Not sure why this is happening. Never really heard if this from others so yes this is unusual. You sorta went guns blazing as soon as she was confirmed by sending a $1K transfer. Next month try to ease into it. Get to the $1K but do it in split payments like $400 in 1 transaction and then a few days later do $600 in another transaction. Its like the folks who would get a new credit card and their very first purchase is 5k VRs at CVS. The bank would be like..slow down there cowboy.

I don't think this is unusual. I received the same thing on one of my accounts. You're able to upload a statement directly via AP, so you don't have to fax it in.

For me, it occurred when the bank was unable to do an instant verification (after me trying it 3+ times).

Can one liquidate OVs with AP similar to AGC?

Read the wiki. Technically yet you can liquidate OVs with AP but you might get locked out after constantly swapping payment methods.

Can you liquidate other gift cards via AP? Yes. Note that you cannot liquidate the full value of a GC because amazon places a $1 hold while it verifies the validity of the GC. You can sometimes (not always) avoid the hold by entering an incorrect expiration date for the GC when adding it to your AP account, and after you have added it, go to "Edit my account settings," then to "Add edit or delete my credit cards" and edit the expiration date there.

Is there anyone anywhere who can report with any confidence that this happened? It's repeated over and over like a mantra but I'm not aware of any documentable truth to it.
