You're saying something that has been mentioned a million times in this thread after someone gets shut down. It's all just luck of the draw on who gets shut down.

LOL

Where is the evidence of this "alarming regularity" you speak of?
I've seen a couple of mentions of accounts with issues. Far from any sort of regularity...nevermind alarming.

Or maybe just more people are starting to push the envelope since they see more people doing it and thus those added people are getting shutdown.

How does the BofA Alaska card treat this? credit charge or cash advance when using good/services?

+1

I'm definitely doing this while I can. It doesn't hurt anything if I get a few accounts shutdown. All I can do is hope that they allow one survive in the end and I continue doing what I originally did in the beginning. If not, I have BF's and family and will be conservative with A-B-C.

Amazon Payments

For those that reopened new accounts after shut down. Are you using the same bank account that was linked to your suspended account? I too, got my 4 accounts shut down last month after years of AP. am slowly getting back into the game.

Question:

I am far from aggressive with AP. I do one $500 transfer and one $475 transfer per month to my fiance (A -> B), and that's it. However, her parents are giving us some cash towards the wedding ($5K), and I told them about AP as a way to send those funds over the next 5 months and get points for them. They wanted to just charge everything to their card, but not only is my card already on file, my venue is considered "travel," so 2x on CSP. I wasn't about to give that up.

tldr; So my question is: If I go ($975 A -> B), and then ($1000 C -> A), is that going to draw much attention? I only think it would because for the next 6 months, I'll be pretty much maxing out my send AND receive limits. While the C -> A transfer is a completely legitimate use of the service, my A -> B transfer is pure MS. Any reason to worry?

I manage multiple accounts for different people and usually max out the limits every month. So IME, what you propose does not pose much risk, and I would do it without worrying too much.

Anyone having trouble logging in right now?

Fuerza Jan 11, 2014 8:12 am

For anyone using capital one 360 with Amazon Payments did you have to wait 30 days before being able to transfer money out of 360 into your regular checking account?

I really don't want to waste January by waiting 30 days.
