Sounds like China, India, and the Middle East is where most of the new FS properties will open in the next decade or so. (I also didn't realize that FS has a hotel in Doha for the last 5 years).

Four Seasons Hotel Doha is a fabulous urban resort hotel with its own beach and one of the best spas I have ever experienced. Great food and service - a really special Four Seasons.

Just saw the site for the second Four Seasons Doha at the Pearl, set to open 2012. VERY smart indeed, with loads of high-end shops, a Marina and Venice-like waterways. Around 300 rooms/suites.

I know there is nothing much on the web - but my quick search was in Doha itself and I promise you that I walked around the site.
Porto Arabia is in a very finished state, with numerous chic shops and restaurants already open. There are marinas, bridges - a very elegant area on the edge of the sea. The Four Seasons sits across one of the bridges and is currently breaking ground. The plans look very interesting indeed.

disney has announced first residential offerings - homes and 36-44 homesites

but no mention of four seasons residences / residence club yet..

any further development in NA or Europe

has anyone heard of future FS projects in North America and Europe? or rumours ? i know there are 3 confirmed projects in NA:

toronto
new york downtown
disney

but mr sharp did reveal in april that there are plans for 10 hotels in NA

also what happened to the proposed development in New Orleans??

FS being considered for La Defense Paris

Nothing to get your hopes up but apparently these are serious negotiations for a Four Seasons Hotel at the Hermitage Plaza Tower in La Defense district in Paris

This is all very interesting. When Didier le Calvez was GM of FS George V, he wanted Prince Alwaleed to create a second Parisian hotel, but more contemporary - a great idea as Paris is bereft of a really top contemporary property. The idea never took off, unfortunately, so it looks as though FS have been talking to other investors. La Défense would certainly be ripe for a contemporary Parisian hotel.
