In Yogyakarta in April by myself, really want to spend a few nights (or at least 2) at Amanjiwo. How is Amanjiwo for solo travellers?
The service is not necessarily important to me...I won't spend much time in the hotel (Borobudur and Prambanan being my main tours) and being a solo traveller I am not going to spend time in restuarants either. But how many single travellers do you get normally at Aman resorts? Are they treated like green aliens? |

I've been at some Amans by myself, & it's quite wonderful .. Peaceful surroundings , decent food.. Have met others enjoying time on own too. Enjoying beautiful sunrises/ sunsets now at Amankila - this time with spouse. Splendid private beach dinner/ bonfire again - always love the experience whether one catches the sunset or not. Amazingly only a ferry in view . If you in the tiered pools, only a couple of fishing sampans seen :) |
