To ensure I understand:
I will be traveling NCE-FRA-BOS in LH F. NCE arrives typically either at A gate or bus A gate. I would normally use the FCT, but would like to buy a few duty-free beverages that the duty-free shop in the FCT does not carry (I have tried emailing them but they say they do not carry it; only the Caviar House store does). Therefore, I’ve decided to go to FCL B. I do need to go through passport control, but not security, correct? How long, approximately, does this walk take? Lastly, should I be buying my duty-free purchases once I’ve arrived in the B gates, or does it not matter?

If it is a bus gate, you should ask to be driven to B-Schengen from where it is only a short (3 min) walk to the passport control at B and then to FCL B (via the Caviar House store). They will drive you from the FCL to your BOS flight if it departs from Z or C.

How is the A to C situation lately?
Is the skytrain still operating or I'm better run the whole 2km in the case of a A40/42 arrival?
For years I didn't pay attention to the skytrain and now authomatically assume the hectic walk is the default thing to do, but these days the LH323 is regularly late and the already short 75' connection to EZE looks daunting, esp for a next to curfew cut-off flight.

For an LH flight LAX-FRA-CPH, it seems that a 2-hour connection is plenty from what I'm reading? Is there anything like a Fast Pass Line for Business Class?
I'm thinking of worst case scenarios where a late flight makes the 2 hour connection into only one, etc.
thanks for any tips

Your coming in clean from LAX so no transfer security just passport control, no fast lane for that.

Interesting, thanks. So I'd only do security at LAX and not again at FRA ?? Any idea which Terminals I'd fly into from LAX and then out of to CPH? (Concerned about walking distances) Thank you!

I’m arriving to FRA from South Africa on LH today. I will then transfer to a flight on UA to SFO. My connection is 8:20 long and I want to go into Frankfurt. Will I need to pickup my bags and recheck or will LH transfer them? I’m really hesitant about believing the SA agents in CPT (where my itinerary begins).

+ 1 easy to check your bags through & I never had a problem with any of the *A agents in CPT, in fact only good service.

Hey experts!
Flying to Frankfurt from Stockholm with LH801 next Monday at 10.10am, scheduled arrival 12.20. (Seems to be on time most days from what i've seen)
This flight seems to arrive at gate a in Frankfurt.
From there, my next flight to Denver with LH446 is scheduled to depart at 13.25, from what i've seen usually from gate Z15, giving me 1 hour and 5 minutes in between flights assuming the first flight is on time.
I booked the trip through Expedia, and it's available on Lufthansas website as well (Although only when searching premium economy now, guess economy is full)
I've never been to Frankfurts airport before, how long will it take me to get from gate a to z, approximately?
Do you reckon 1h05m is fine? I'm assuming i'll have to run a bit which is fine.
In case I do miss the flight, is it possible to be rebooked with another airline, or will I have to wait 24 hours for the next flight to Denver?
(Denver isn't my final destination, Las Vegas is, however, from Denver to Vegas i'm booked on United, in case that makes a difference with anything)
Thanks a lot,
Jonas

If you misconnect you can ask for the fastest routing & they owe you duty of care & EU261 compensation unless it’s an extraordinary event.

Just wanted to follow up on my earlier post about using the tunnel to connect from US arrival (Z Gates) to Non-Schengen B-gates as I did it today.
Worked perfectly. Our Z gate was right by the passport control to the A gates, so got quickly through there, down the stairs to the A-gates, walked to A-15, elevator down to the tunnel to the Schengen B gates, and then through the e-Passport gates into non-Schengen B. Much nicer than taking the train to B hand having to clear security again.

Good afternoon!
I'm flying into Z22 with a one hour connection at A36
Is it a relatively quick route? The wiki says Z gates are above the A gates, any tips would be great
Edit: I'm assuming there will be passport control as I'm entering the EU, is there anything else to expect? Another one for flying from FRA -> CDG? Security?
