Got the letter, with a nice Swiss logo.
They start out by saying how wonderful they've been to us, and that wondefulness will continue with the opening of new lounges in ZRH and GVA as of this winter. Then they mention the 25% bonus (of course without saying "reducing to"). Finally there's mention of the FRA pickup.
Whatever... I'll get my black card renewed no problem, it's my Air France card that I am worried about.

Good one!
But being also Paris-based there sometimes is no way around them - I just wouldn't take the detour via FRA, MUC or ZRH all the time. And in those cases I want to get the few perks they offer - even if ridiculous compared to HON.
But 9 more flights in European C, and I'll be there. I'll try to do them on routes where LX's/LH's offering is either non-existing or not as good (e.g. rather go on an Air France Airbus from CDG to TXL than on a Lufthansa CRJ).

Exec. Bonus calculation
Have got the same letter
I checked my milage status. Until now I have got e.g
Miami-Frankfurt + 9.648
Executive Bonus + 2.412
this was always a plus of 25% and never 50%.
any comment on this?
thanks,

4,824 base miles
4,824 cabin bonus (100% for C, D, Z)
= 9,648 you quoted
2,412 status bonus (50% of the base miles)
After the enhancement you'll only get 1,206 status miles.
So for FRA-MIA it was 12,060 status and bouns miles while it'll be 10,854 status und bonus miles once the enhancement is in place.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Starting Jan 01, 2008 you will get 1.206 executive bonus miles only.
Relative total mileage reduction in this case is 10% (10.854 instead of 12.060).

HON Bonus reduced to 25% in 2008
Just receiving a letter from Antinori stating that the HON bonus has been "standardized" to 25% start Jan 1 2008.
I have to remember this language for future partner deals.

Why don't you write him a letter, like some others did. He will answer personally, so he is quite busy these days.

I tried searching, but the flyertalk search engine refuses words less than 4 characters long i.e. "HON". Plus, I only got the letter this week.
