Based on those answeres, FT can help you. But, as said earlier, miles runs are personal and anyone has to find his personal fit.

Thanks chumbawumba for your advise, of course you are right, my inquiry was a bit naked.
- start/final destination should be Hamburg
- it should be as cheap as possible
- I understand it that business class is a must to achieve enough status miles
- I can do the run during the week or on a weekend, doesn't really matter
- I would prefer to do it in one go, but if 2 are necessary it will be OK
- I don't have a specific destination, just need the miles
I'm afraid that I'm not as professional as many of you here in this fantastic forum, so any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks again!!

For you the trick will be: Check the SWISS weekend offers in business in Swiss.com. However, these are only ex-Switzerland Try to get a cheap E-Class return or whatever to the Swiss airport where you can start one of these offers. Your problem will be that you won't get a cheap E-Class into any Swiss Airport the moment Swiss market the cheap weekend returns.

So what you have to do is to buy a return for any weekend. Check the offers a few days before that weekend, create your schedule, fly on the cheap ticket to ZRH, GVA or BSL and continue on these seperate tickets from there.

Actually, he assumes we all live in Switzerland. As I f.e. do!

Problem in my case: i'm not here the weekends...

GVA is a good destination as it offers more than once a day flights via Zurich.
BSL only offers once a day a flight to Zurich in the morning and ex Zurich late night.

:-:RTF ex Hamburg via Munich or Francfurt should give you 2500 miles + 25% in Europe or even more outsite europe. Disadvantage: You need to stay one night.
:-:LH flight to Santiago de Chile should be arround € 1386 and give you 21600 miles you need in one go (LH homepage, via MUC and ZRH, in October).
:-:LH flight to Santiago de Chile should be arround € 1463 and give you 24600 miles you need in one go (LH homepage, via FRA and Sao Paulo, in October).
:-:You can play with the dates and find your optimum.
:-:If you choose a day earlier for you flight back, changes are high that they ask in Sao Paulo that someone steps down from his flight back for one day. €650 and hotel are in if you volunteer.
...
:-:There are many options...

Looks like an economy 'B' class fare. You could get one this weekend for ca. 1500 EUR.

FRA - ZRH - SCL
SCL - ZRH - SCL

Gives 24.796 + 4.340 (8682 HON).

If you prefer sitting "vorne", I recommend you having a look at http://www.vornesitzen.de.
No, I thought it is important to collect miles, not the booking class.

Why? If I get a guaranteed life-time-HON-status, even I would fly FRA-GRU in Economy. Once.

Otherwise: Off-limits

Actually, I have an average ratio of 80EUR/1000 miles this year (includes ATH-FRA-MNL and back in Z for EUR 2085 and some RTF's).
