flysurfer, I came up with the idea of having my birthday dinner in SYD based on your birthday party last year, where I couldnt come to Australia. So actually, you inspired me....wouldnt that be a reason to come to SYD as well??

I thought you are in Europe now, not in LAX. If that would have been the case, there would be a way: Europe-North Africa-Arabian Peninsula-India-Singapore-Sydney. Can all be done by "LCC's"

If you are in LAX, it's indeed more complicated. Only LCC I know would be UA in E-

Some of the recent Air NZ local specials SYD-LAX are near the LCC level.

Take any US-based airline to HNL in economy and then take Jetstar HNL-SYD.

Advance happy birthday berlinflyer!

I'll make sure to enjoy an extra glass of JW Blue on BA 009 BKK-SYD, but unfortunately I'm arriving 3 days late to attend the big party.

I always knew you hated me.
Now I've got proof.

Then again, I could miss the Jetstar flight and be forced to stay 2 days in HNL. @:-)
I'm sure will donte some CR1s for the domestic UA segments.
