Only standard awards available. Too expensive for one single evening. I'd rather spend 400k miles on a standard award MUC-LAX-SYD-LAX-MUC with stopovers in LAX.

Btw, OT: Does UA MP allow 2 stopovers in LAX (outbound and inbound) on such an award?

On the saver Biz award (not what you are asking for, I understand, just the 140K award), they did 18 months ago.

You could buy one of those Oz-madness promo tickets in S class which does not even have minimum stay. Wonder if they are still sold?

While I understand that "S class" is a first class vehicle, I somehow doubt that such a ticket would also let me into UA F.

Your obsession with UA F is unhealthy to begin with. I had to survive a ride on UA's Y for your birthday, so why can't you do the some for another FTer's one, hehe?
BTW S cannot be upgraded with an SWU, so you would not loose those either.

I might contemplate that. But don't you have gazillions of unused SWUs yourself?
Plus to use an SWU, you'd need at least a W class (one up from S) and they come with 3 and 6 day min stay. Very uncool and uncaring of UA .

I still have all the SWUs UA gave me in the past 12 months. Which is zero.
