This is not true, is it?

I can only chuckle, as long as I am not on one of those flights. I'm definitely not for Bavarian feeling, when flying and would take this as emotional cruelty.

Interesting gimmick. But you couldn't pay me enough to board a longhaul flight in Lederhosen, much less work one.

MUC-PVG is what, 11 hours?

Judging from the picture, the female FAs look great in the Dirndls. ^
I wonder what the male crewmembers will look like, though. They can't be serious about the Lederhosen, can they?

Absolutely! I think they look fab.

Indeed, although I am flying BA to Munich for the start of Oktoberfest, I think I will put my Tracht on.

Loud and proud!

According to the article and the press release they've only done it once before, in 1957.

Well, the press has been wrong, before, and if that's the only mistake they made since 1957, we might as well forgive them.

... but if they were right, it must have been a HUGE success in 1957, seeing that they are doing it again so soon

The F/As do look nice in Dirndl dresses but seeing them with LH's F in the background...it kinda feels out of place IMO.

That would be "LH's F" - your post would appear to support those who believe it should be revamped sooner rather than later ...
